guess i dont know what you mean by rtr. to me rtr stands for ready to run which both versions of the mini revo are. there is a brushless rtr and a brushed rtr. i know for a fact that the brushless version will run on 2 batteries. i do not have the brushed version so i do not know what that one uses
thanks but my stupidity still needs help....should i get the vxl or rtr? if i was to buy the rtr, i would be able to put a castle esc and motor in it? what do you think?

that is the 1/16 e-revo VXL. it comes rtr with one 6 cell battery

I think the only difference is the motor and esc
so I would assume that the chassis is the same
there is a battery box on each side of the chassis
