Theory of gravity explains why object with higher mass attracts objects of lesser mass, similarly the theory of evolution explains how animals can change over time, by a process called natural selection. Theory is the highest status any scientific idea can get. Search for "Evidence of common descent " in google and just read the wikipedia page. Evolution is one of most well established theories in science, which is backed by evidence.

This video makes a good point it shows how people back when the bible was written everyone one thought the earth was flat and it was before they found out that the earth was a circle so therefore it would only make since for Christians to believe the same thing. But then why does the bible talk about the earth being a circle in Isaiah 40:22? The bible talks about many scientific facts before we even discovered them.

That there are places in Isaiah where there are references to the four corners of the earth(plenty of other books refer to the corners as well)? That there are passages referring to the ends of the earth, hinting to an actual edge? The bible can be interpreted to have all the answers, when you twist the words around enough. Too bad the actual sciense has to come first, only then will those "interpretations" be found.
