  • this is fucking amazing, JARED FOLK is awesome

  • tHE SAME GUY FROM FREEDRUMLESSONS lol

  • Wow, this guy made FreeDrumLessons right?

  • yes.. check out the secret drum lesson in there...

  • can you give me any tips on how to drum roll properly? PLEASE!

  • What do you mean properly? To stay in a rythm?

  • no.. just like.. every time a do one it's a short drum roll and i end up tensing up

  • Well, simple rolls (rock or heavy metal), are in one beat like in 4/4 metre. It can be four hits (4th notes), 8 hits (8th notes), and 16 hits (16th notes). You can choose them by tempo. In 200 tempo it's hard to do 16th :)) So, you should create a roll, or just take it from somebody, and try to play it very slow, and then start speeding-up. When you will feel comfortable, you will do that roll with no problems.

  • thanks

  • You are so wrong.

  • Man, I'm not! I know drumming systems@

  • Otherwise, you should practice playing not rythms, but improvisations on all drum set, (cymbals, snare, toms, bass etc.), after that, you can make many rolls. You hear them - you can play them. I used to do that. Watch some of my videos, maybe they might help - just listen.

  • it sounds like someone is making that sound with their mouth.

  • that was swet

    i cant play it though

  • whats the song playing in the background?

  • ill stick to my 4 4 lol
