One Yautja can easily destroy a handful of xenomorphs. But xenomorphs don't attack in groups, they attack in swarms. They mass produce rather quickly, and can easily overwhelm a Yautja in just mere seconds.

But it might be interesting to see how a clan of Yaujta's can hold up against such sheer numbers..

Your views are misguided. The aliens were actually grown as prey, to be killed. If the aliens were better the predators wouldn't have grown them, because they'd get owned. The only way a predator can get killed by an alien is if its in close-quarters and it hides from the predator.

Don't get me wrong, I think aliens are awesome, but come on, even the alien queen was captured and chained up in the AVP movie - why? Because predators are superior.

Well, you're partially correct. Yes, Predators can control Aliens, but not completely. Take, for example, Alien 1, at the beginning there's a desolate planet. By your logic, the Predators should have controlled the Aliens before they taken over the planet of some other alien species. That didn't happen though.

Even in the second AVP (The first was terrible) the Predalien taken a whole ship.

My point is, the Predators can only control the Aliens so much, and it's not anywhere near 100% control.

There weren't any predators in Alien. I think you mean spacejockeys? No one actually knows where the aliens come from, which planet, etc. Logic would say that there's a few species flying around out there and they've all encountered them at some point. The predators learned to control them and breed them, like they did in AVP in the temple. Notice how the predators that were killed were young / inexperienced. Also the predalien killed the predator (1) while it was hidden, in close quarters :P

Sorry my point about Alien was that if Predators could control Aliens they wouldn't have let a hive get that strong. I'm aware of the Space Jockeys. I still stand by the theory that Aliens cannot be controlled, merely contained for periods of time. It's simple Chaos Theory. Actually at first the Predalien was quite far away from it and nearly got PlasmaCaster-ed! Aha, but about the temple thing.. Bear in mind the Predator hunt takes place on many worlds, there will be some that have fallen.

Basically my point is if an armed predator was facing an alien in the open we'd know the predator wins, but take the battle inside with stealth involved it's more of a hunt it's a bit more tricky. It would be more fair if the preds didn't have their technology, but it helps them control the infestation, they have the advantage, even against queens.

I bet predaliens are gonna be tanks in AVP3 & I'm hoping they bring back the queen too, lol that was so sweet rampaging through the map.

He was so badass, I loved when he grabbed his weapons and set off. Maybe they will have a rage buff or something, that gives like extra resilience, you know, 5 kills and you become enraged! :D
