time travel is just a dream of everyone. Lives come and go, and cannot be brought back to its original form. people who are dead are dead. if you are saying that time travelling is possible, that means you have to good through all the creation and destruction of lives and materials. It is not you travelling in time, but time travelling in you. Unless, there is a paralell space-time of our past, but it is simply impossible to reach there in the next few centuries

I love this guy, he's going to change the future but something about him makes me images him as a villain in my head. In my opinion, time travel to the future is impossible because we are living, obviously, at the present. How could you travel to a time that hasn't been created yet?
My theory is that If time travel is real, than even though if you went back in time to do something, than It would of already been done, You can counter all of those paradoxes by having someone go back in time because they are performing the act of going back in time. For example someone could of time traveled to kill Hitler but they would of went back in time to be the person who goes back in time to do so, not just plainly to go back in time to perform an action. My theory is that If time travel is real, than even though if you went back in time to do something, than It would of already been done, You can counter all of those paradoxes by having someone go back in time because they are performing the act of going back in time. For example someone could of time traveled to kill Hitler but they would of went back in time to be the person who goes back in time to do so, not just plainly to go back in time to perform an action. Time travel already happened.

The very moment that you have traveled back in time you have altered the present making the version of the universe that you came from cease to exist, therefore making that particular version of you cease to exist. To me this makes backwards time travel impossible for any scenario. This being said traveling forwards is 100% possible.

You can travel (see) the past by increasing the distance between yourself and your destination (viewpoint). To be in the same location would otherwise require the impossible, ie moving at infinite velocity (requires a quantum device/computer).
You can make everything AROUND you get to the future quicker by doing everything SLOWER (including impossible things like altering your heartrate etc). Again, a quantum device operating at INFINITE ZERO velocity could accelerate time for a all of us!

He figured that by the time he turned it on, he would start recieving letters/messages from the future. But it does make scense that dementions would not be connected until the first machine was turned on. Don't take my word for it but check it out, its pretty interesting.
