  • DUDE SHE WAS FUKIN GREEN COMPARED TO THE FINAL RESULTS! O_O

    ITS AWESOME!!! :DD

  • @animekittykittygirl greenish color cast was problem of camera color processing, now I am happy with Canon that displays colors correctly

  • That's a crazy amount of retouching...how long did it take and how big did the final photoshop file end up at? :-O

  • @kenyee88 5hours 26minutes , I think final file size was under 1,5GB at 8bit... and yep, this is hardcore retouch and my style changed since then :-D

  • What filter is? 0:45

  • @k3ny7 I don`t use this filter anymore, it works on inverted high pass principle, easy to learn

  • @luciekout thanks :)

  • @k3ny7 english please

  • its so quick that makes me headache .. .cant understnd it properly.. advise.. whenever you make any tutorial just try to do it in normal way.. .explaination with voice will be appreciated so beginners could also get advantage. if tutorial goes long then u can split into 10 minutes parts..

  • @sherazious it`s not standart tutorial but showcase, tutorial maybe later if I have nothing much to do :-)

  • @luciekout i will look forward to your tutorial.. great work by the way..

  • @sherazious thank you very much

  • @love4ever209 it`s not regular tutorial, maybe laters, we`ll see

  • What do you use to soften the skin ?

  • @MooreCona generally inverted high pass

  • If you make a tutorial video and sell it I will buy it ! thx

  • great job.

where did you get that photo?

i like to work on it..

if you could hep me out..

    thank's

  • @mrrlo I took this photo but there are tons of stock images on internet that you can use

  • Is that you Lucie!

    ;)

Hmm, I see you dont seperate high and low frequency for healing nor do you use the clone tool. And all seem to work fine :)

Maybe it is because of the high quality image you start with, but I'm gonna try it this way.

    Keep it up, cheers

  • I don`t think it`s necessary to separate them ... this is just another way. I use clone tool only when necessary - if healing brush is not enough... if that don`t work, I use paintbrush, adding texture and masking (work well with tablet and some little drawing skills)

  • Yeah I noticed that, nice.

You think Grain Surgery is better than Noise Ninja? Except from the amount, can you also choose the size of the noise to mimic skin pores?..

  • I never worked with Noise Ninja... can`t really afford every single filter in the world but yep, you can choose the size of grain - I am pretty satisfied with it... I have couple more filters but I use this one most often - menus are very clear and easy to understand, work with it is fluent... I will try to google Noise Ninja what it includes...

  • oh, btw I use it only for adding grain, not removing... :-)

  • Yeah of course I saw that, thnx :)

Can I show you something later on and could you give me your feedback?

    Cheers

  • hmmm why do they speed up the vids so much...can't see the work...just the "show off-products"...annoing..

  • @photoshoper100 probably because of patented techniques/methods. If everyone knew how to retouch this same way, there would be more competition for the job. Experimentation is the best way in my opinion to learn. There shouldnt be an easy way about it, if your passionate to the cause, you will try everything, and spend just as long retouching a single photo till its to a high end standard ;) good luck

  • @KeijinShiho in a fact it´s more about not having a time for doing a tutorial and there is all the needed knowledge in a magic thing called google... I learned all from internet, but being lazy and expect others to serve everything on a silver plate without spending own time on experimenting and testing, it´s a way to never learn anything. I agree with you, if you want something, you have to search for a proper way. All the informations are out there

  • @luciekout very true. If you take the initiative to want to learn and master a skill, the information is so easily available in this day and age. Only differences between techniques that may seperate you from the others is personal touches and preferences which show your own unique style. Which I believe should be kept to you alone. If anyone is so curious, google it :)

  • @photoshoper100 prob because it would be an hour or 2 long video and noone can be bothered watching anything online for that long.

  • i love it but could you go a bit slower like the first part where u actually smoothin out the imperfections could you tell me the procedure and how if u use surface blur or a plugin because i thought i saw one lol but at the same time the final image the skin will have some form of texture thats what im tryin to get

  • K17gfx

She did use a plugin, however it's not for smoothing. She used Grain Surgery actually to ADD grain LOL

But 98% is just pure PS skills, patience and practice (and a good creative eye)

  • I found out that explaining a technique is not enough when pupil has no eye... usually talented people learns all with watching others work and using google :-)

  • True, I learned a lot by that lol :)

  • Very nice work!

  • thank you!
