wow id hate to imagine what would happen if i drove through that area in my unmarked xc police crown vic thay might call swat and say i was menacing lol. and yes they should have had a warrent so any case brought up is not valid...at least here in the U.S. thats the case.

They do and like he said they should have had one but apparently he let them search without one probably since there was nothing wrong happening anyhow. If he had said come back with a warrant they probably would have just gotten one and came back and that could have also made things worse since they would have tried to write up any and everything they could since they had to get a warrant.
