Ive just gotten myself a 5 month old husky pup.He is responding to the basic sit command, but he wont really give heed to anything else.Have I gotten him too old to begin proper training?Or will it make a difference at that age?
I know everyone says to begin traing as soon as possible, but im a tad worried he wont respond further down the line
So he did get bigger? I'm getting a Sibe puppy tomorrow and I always hear that they don't come back when off leash, but your video gave me a lot of hope. He'll be about 7 weeks, so I'm going to try and train him a lot as a puppy to come back. Haha.
@Lauraahbabyyx3 Yes I'm sure he did there are lots of videos of him just search my videos for Bandit and we had another one here this summer Jameson he has lots of off leash videos too please subscribe! we do lots of puppy training videos!
I Loved that video and how you make that husky respond! I wish i could do it to my but i dont think its gona happent so easily! Our husky came to us when he was 8 months allready and his previous owners didnt teach him much when he was younger poppy! NOW he is very UNCONTROLABLE and he is not listening to what you want to say, he's doing what he want and he's acting like he dont understand... :/ He is one year and one month now... Any advice would be awsome! Thank you!
@Theosalonika2010 I adopted a 5 yr old who had no training or socialization. She learned, so can yours - YOU need help to learn how. You have to be strong, extremely consistent but kind and reasonable. Use body language, firm but not harsh physical cues. But 1st they must get enough exercise & mental stimulation. MINIMUM 45 min/day to run, not walk. They must cover ground, not just play in an enclosed area. 1 1/2 hrs every few days. You have to earn their respect and trust.
@Theosalonika2010 Looks like a lot of good videos here to give you some ideas - but sounds like you may need to hire a pro to get you on the right track.
Im wondering if anybody could help me at all
