I kind of invested all of my money in the set, so now I have very little.

Are rangers Expensive?

Only if your going for the best gear, because then you have to make it yourself. But you can pretty easily level up with clean or +3 NPC gear from 60-75 and then 75-105 on +3 oska/okas that you upgrade along the way. As long as you can afford some decent enough plugs, your pretty much set!

But at 105/95 if you use reducs, then try for a good statted and +8 set. Its practically mandatory.

Alright, but later on focus killing monsters close to your level and sell the questies. AoE doesnt make money in the same way as 1v1, by gianting, they earn their money by killing lots of monsters and getting lots of drops WHILE TRAINING. You dont need to stop training, but you do need to stick with mobs closer to your level if you want more drops. So no going to monsters 7 levels above you, okay?

Yea I know, I usualy kill mobs the same lvl as me. im lvl 37 killing totems atm.

Prevention AoE ftw. ( you will need to become Ringmaster and wait to lvl 80 with merkaba ) But it works great since you don` t need +10 items ...

Prevention aoe is interesting. Ive been 'plvled' by a merk rm before. But frankly, 4% every 5 minutes doesnt interest me as much as my 2% every minute and a half. Of course now im 109 and exp doesnt come quiet that fast xD

Also, you can be a prevention aoe bp. Just means you need to swap a lot, but its still easy if you know how to do it. And bp's have the second highest hp modifier in the game, meaning prev works better.

Also, no class needs +10 items. +5 will suffice for good leveling.

But as Prevention AoE you won`t need good equip to keep your HP up. its going down anyway. if its a few seconds faster or slower that doesn`t really matter. ( My opinion ) Ofcourse there are other peaple who say a higher upgraded set is a must. but in my eyes an Prevention AoE RM is a good and cheap AoE class.

As a prevention AoE you need enough hp to tank plenty of mobs(without having to recast prev every 2 seconds) and not have them crit through your prev. Yes, higher upgraded sets are better, anyone can see that, but yes, you dont need richy gear to level as a prev aoe. But then again, as a merk rm, the sets are way pricier anyway so its hard to afford it upgraded.

As for the few seconds slower-faster, it doesnt matter for a level. But from 80-121 Hero... Seconds add up. If your going that far :P

Aoe billposters, aoe knights, aoe rangers, and aoe wf elementors all can level very well on npc gear I might add. For aoe chars its all about the armor, whereas for 1v1 its about the weapons. And yet, as aoes will we level just as fast with normal gear as them with good gear. So we win out in the end ^^

Yeah, thatll do well for aoeing. As long as you have nice defence and are elemented to the monsters weakness you should do good. Since its +5 you will also get some nais bonuses.
