  • I applaud any attempt at building electric traction rail. But I suspect that once government is involved, red tape, delays, cost overruns and corruption will make this wonderful idea into a gold plated turkey on roller skates.

  • Remember this is Atlanta pursing the beltline projects and citizens who have the courage not to let some punk thugs run us into the surburbs like Powder Springs. Of course their will be police and security. I love the Atlanta Beltline projects and support it 100%

  • I really hope they're putting a lot of thought into how they're going to POLICE the Beltline areas. I live near the Silver Comet Trail - also a very nice idea, but in some spots it's become a simple footpath for thugs to wonder around aimlessly during all hours (and a few muggings and one murder so far have occured on the trail). I do hope officials are looking at this and considering it IS Atlanta (a high crime city), they do the proper planning to keep Beltline visitors safe.
