  • I've had the G500 for a year now, I've also had the G5 and the G5 2007 edition, never encountered anything like this... Been using QcK mousepads for 2-3 years. After something heavy fell on my G500, it's been acting weird... It's turning more to one side then the other, so I've decided to buy a new mouse. I really want the Xai, cause it's sexy as hell, but if it's skipping then no thanks... Would you recommend Sensei over Xai? Can't I just update the firmware on the Xai?

  • yeah G500 needs a hard pad. thanks for the proof.

  • Man you shouldn't be comparing like that. This should be a "G500 skips" video, not a comparison video.

You wouldn't buy ANY mouse you heard skips, I want to actually know how good the good ones are compared to each other, ie. the "non-skipping" ones.

  • @naryanr

    com·pare verb \kəm-ˈper\

"to examine the character or qualities of especially in order to discover resemblances or differences"

It was originally assumed that all mice equipped with A9500 laser sensors didn't fair as well as optical mice on popular cloth surfaces. This video "compares" the differences of max tracking speeds between binning or firmware related improvements. Also, this isn't just a G500 issue. It was a reoccurring problem with every A9500 mouse on the market.

  • so what are the results, sensei > g500?

  • Man G500 really skips on cloth pads :S

  • @NikolaVa87 Man please do this with Sensei and Xai, does Xai respons as good as Sensei :)

  • wtf are you trying to do O.o looks retarded
