  • "Three years of training, both day and night"

That's about the time it takes to become a *good* player at this game.

  • We are worms, we're the best, and we've come to win the war. We'll stand, we'll never run, stay until it's done. Though our friends may fall and our world be torn apart, we'll strike will all our might, we'll fight for what is right... till the end...

  • memory of win when listen to song /bad English.

  • This is great, back when you could just put a game disc in the stereo

  • I this some sort of War of the Worlds parody that Team17 did?

  • Best song EVER

  • traduccion los gusanos de la caja son boogy y spadge

  • the worms of the box are boogy and spadge

  • Scrambling up a hill and hiding behind a tree, he looked at the battle that raged below. It was there he saw his friend Spadge, stood upon a bridge but another worm had also seen him, and aimed to have him dead Boggy called to Spadge, but Spadge didn't hear, he never knew what hit him, as he flew into the air. It was all to much for Boggy, as he watched his best friend die....

  • @PhaseCydrome ANgry Birds aren't a classic, silly.

  • Nooooo Spadge died!! He was my favourite :(

  • (Sorry about all the posts, the lyrics are pretty long)

This is a story of courage, honour and worms.

    War had cast a shadow over their once peaceful land;

gunfire filled the air, as worm turned against worm.

Where so many had fallen, others knew they must follow.

    For one such worm, this day had already come;

when he was two, his father had left, never to return.

Three years he had waited for his chance to fight,

three years of training, both day and night.

  • And though he was scared as he set off for battle,

he knew in his heart that it was something he must do.

Three inches tall, and armed to the teeth,

a fine soldier he made, and his name was Boggy B.

[Chorus]: We are worms, we're the best, and we've come to win the war!

We'll stand, we'll never run, stay until it's done!

Though our friends may fall, and our world be blown apart,

we'll strike with all our might, we'll fight for what is right 'til the end!

  • Scrambling up a hill and hiding behind a tree,

he looked at the battle that raged down below.

It was there he saw his friend Spadge, stood upon a bridge.

But another worm had also seen him, and aimed to have him dead.

Boggy called to Spadge, but Spadge didn't hear!

He never knew what hit him, as he flew into the air.

  • It was all too much for Boggy, as he watched his best friend die.

His heart filled with rage, and he gripped his rifle tight.

Charging down the hill he had to have revenge!

What had Spadge done to come to such an end?

    Reaching the bottom of the hill, Boggy suddenly heard a click;

he realised to his terror there was a mine under his tail!

    [Chorus]

Hitting several cliffs and landing in a tree,

Boggy pulled himself together, there was much he had to do.

  • Spotting the enemy down below, he knew this was his chance.

Boggy grabbed a stick of dynamite and dropped it on his head.

The enemy, he tried to run, but all he could really do was squirm.

As the fuse ran out there was a mighty *BANG*, and everywhere were bits of worm.

With their leader blown to kingdom come, the enemy, they turned and ran!

Boggy bungeed from the tree and landed safely on the ground.

As he watched the enemy squirm away, the cry went up:

    'WE'VE WON THE WAR!'

    [Chorus]

  • this is really silly! i played WA but i didnt know it was a playstation game before

  • i had this on tape! ha!

  • @WHCism me too

  • it's meeeee

  • And thanks to this, i always have a worm named boggy b on the team.

  • best game i ever played

  • The original is STILL my favorite of them all.

  • Ah, this takes me back :D Definitely on the Worms PC version, it was a music track after the data track on the disk.

The music is composed by Bjørn Lynne. He was a legend back in the day, heavily involved with the norwegian computer magazine Tekno. That magazine was great. Dealt with all things computer-related, but with an emphasis on the creative side. Demo scene, music etc. Also had quite a few tutorials for everything, and a rather good game section.

  • pegajosa y con momentos chidines :)

  • its a great song from worms 1

i played it every day lol

  • 3 inches tall and armed to the teeth

    a fine soldier he made

    and his name

  • Christ, havn't heard this for almost ten years o.o

  • Ooooow, the memories! <3333

I found this song as a young kid by trying what my cdplayer would do if I put a cdrom in it xD

Worms was the first cdrom I tried it with.

I was pretty appaled afterwards when I found out that only the Worms cdrom did this =(

Still, I love this song <3 oh the memories <333

  • To play the song you had to put the disk into a cd player or computer... or win the game! I used to listen to this over and over again... ahh... memories!

  • i love boggy b, spadge and fluff

  • This was the second game I ever played on the playstation 1 and was awesome. It was the start of my gaming career and definitly a good start.

  • This song was a hidden track only found on the original PC game. You had to put the disc into a CD player and it was the last track.

  • @Nerdmeister It was hardly a hidden track, you just had to go into "worm options", "audio options", then select "Play Worms Music Theme"

  • @Nerdmeister i remeber this song from the Amiga cd32 version of the game, so definetly not only pc version.

  • let me tell all of you that this is from the first worms game definatly.

  • @severdnerv This is from Worms 1

  • You are correct, I remember you could play the game disc as a cd and listen to it.

  • @HamumuALLEN2 No, it's from Worms 1

  • WRONG

  • @HamumuALLEN2 No, its from Worms 1.

  • Does anyone know how I can get my hands on the file? Direct me to a download if you know of any, tnx.

  • I remember you had to do something special to listen to this song, but I can't remember what :)

  • i just put it in my comp.

it could find the songs but no game files :C

  • @W3ST4WAY Lol, i did that too, it works with nearly every ps game^^

  • @grumpyjester The file was an audio-track on the game cd. i once turned it in my cd player and there it was.

  • Yes, this came with the first version of Worms, on the PC. I understand it was later also released on the PS1, don't know if that version had this song as well.

  • I've never heard this song before.

  • what was your first worms game?

  • It was the first game. But the ps1 version. I only have that and Worms Armageddon.

  • i don't know the ps version. Maybe the song wasn't on it. I think the song was on worms 'reinforcements' or 'united' pc edition. But I'm not quite sure...

  • im fairly sure it was the first one.

    and its for pc.

  • yup it's on the PS1 version 'cause that's where I remember it from as I did'nt own a PC back then
