  • one of my favorites.

  • Nintendo must revive CV 64 and CV LoD.

But dont fuck it up is what I'd say :3

  • This was on bloodlines too! >.<

I feels so slow for not realizing that earlier.

Gotta luv the castlevania series and the music! Both beautiful! :3

  • i believe this castlevania had the best music ever..

  • excelente ost creo que todos los castlevania tienen mejor música que cv los ya que suena muy aburrida y no queda con el ecosistema o el ambiente del nivel =/

  • This is my favourite version of the Sinking Old Sanctuary. Excellent theme!

  • can't believe this is in castlevania: COTM too..

  • 0:00 to 1:11

  • i swear this is so kick ass i played the game again right when i lisend to this

  • @100nitendoguy this is also so kick ass fuck microsoft and sony this rocks the whole world

  • fuck this was so cool back then

specially the garden maze with the chainsaw maniac,

who was incidentally supposed to be a character.

Castlevania is just a great series.

  • too right, there is a great element of nostalgia...

let's hope the new game is gonna be just as good.

  • It's a crying shame that for Konami's recent Devil's Castle Dracula Best Music Collections Box, they didn't add the new tracks from Legacy of Darkness to the Castlevania 64 CD. They eliminated the bonus tracks that are on the original release, so they certainly had the space. I'd like to have this rendition of "The Sinking Old Sanctuary" on CD.

  • May I ask why they made the same exact game twice? Accept that theres like, what 2 more characters? Idk.

  • @woddlingduckstudios 3 more characters, and about 4 more levels total. The first release was rushed and this is the "director's cut".

  • @woddlingduckstudios It's not the same game, Legacy of Darkness is actually a prequel to the original Castlevania 64 game--I believe around 5 years prior to the timeline of events in the first N64 game. If you look at Reinhardt and Carrie, they're a lot younger.

Oh, and I love this track--it's my favorite theme of any part of the castle or surrounding areas. ^_^

  • @DragonMaster1086 eight years

    **chimes in late**

The LoD version has more levels (Art Tower, Tower of Ruins), has the option of using the Expansion Pack for higher resolution textures, and redesigns the stages. Not all the stages are the same models.

But the main reason is Cornell and Henry. Love playing as a gun-toting hero on a rescue mission.

  • @woddlingduckstudios The first one,Castlevania 64,was kind of a beta for it,and The other one, lords of Darkness, was more of the full product.

  • I was fascinated with this music for weeks after first playing through this level...then I remembered why.

I'd heard it many years ago when I was a kid...playing through the Atlantis level on the Sega Genesis game "Castlevania: Bloodlines".

    Nostalgia bomb, man.
