Devia is a REAL bel canto singer, in the Callas and Sutherland legacy. Big voice, flexibility, drama per musica! Also, she SHAPES her performances, unlike Grubworm, Sumo Jane or Netrebko, who trap the music on the page, unable to make it opera. Same for JDF and Brownlee.
She turned 62 three days ago (I hope I get my dates correctly this time), and remains a vocal miracle, a committed artist, and an exemplary bel canto specialist. Let's hope she continues to sing this well. Bravissima!

ero presente in teatro. era da non credere. una prova sublime.
l'ultimoa tto ha cantato tutto in ginocchio.....con una tecnica e una passione incredibili.
una vera signora del belcanto. non ho più parole per descrivere l'ammirazione vs questa donna (e non sono ne parente ne amico)
