This is one of my favorite scenes because Halloween is one of the best films ever, and Scream is amazing as well. That said, I don't like the comment about the "too red" blood....Cause there's pretty much no blood in Halloween, and certainly not in the scene they're watching. That's what gets me of this movie:

it was directed by Wes Craven, who created Freddy Krueger, a slasher/monster that you CAN'T defeat by abiding by Randy's Rules.

Freddy, Craven's own creation, is the one slasher/monster that will kill you even if you follow Randy's Rules.

Why would Craven create a set of "rules" that don't apply to one of his own creations?
