Just watched the whole thing. I LOVE IT. Despite the crazy murderous phsyco and the guts, blood, swearing and mating scenes, I think this movie is amazing and will watch every time I'm in the mood for action, adventure and mystery!

Damn this movie was amazing. Though, I don't like seeing blood and guts, be it animated or not. I usually like to enjoy a snack during a film, but I had to sit through this without any goodies. Hah. It was worth it though. The song is great, too.

I just finished watching this whole thing. I must say, this is one of the most amazing animated films I have ever seen. At first it felt like it wasn't really going anywhere, but the more I watched, the more and more I was in awe of the story. I sometimes felt that if you altered the story a bit so that it was humans and not cats as the main characters, you could have an amazing mystery novel. This is defenitely a favorite of mine.

@princesswolf1213 Yeah, well, I always see it in the 8+ section in any bookshops near me so I assume that it is suitable for children around the age of 8, given that the writing is very simplistic and some of the characters - particularly Greypaw in the first book - have a comical side to them. Felidae was rated a 12 in Germany when it was released and has no real comedy elements, it is violent and gritty start to finish. I wouldn't show this film to an 9-year-old.

Even though I love reading the Warriors books, this is completely different from them. The warriors are about clan cats fighting to live. But this, this is just wonderfulness. They made a combination of cats, murder, mystery, horror, and many other things come together into this one movie. If I had to, I'd watch this every day. I love Felidae. :) The next time that I venture to the library, I'm looking for this book. (the book Felidae of course, it sounds more enticing than the Warriors books)

Amazing movie!!! Even though Claudandus mercilessly killed so many cats, I can see why he did it. Being tortured repeatedly by humans drove him to preserve the new, stronger breed of cats so that he can triumph over man and his attrocities. But, he lost himself striving to get there.
