sometimes i want to buy a b-series for my 95 coupe. but then i think about buying aftermarket cams. if i upgrade the valvetrain and put a bigger cam in my d-series i only have to adjust one camshaft and one cam gear. it needs a slave cyl and it uses half a quart of oil every 50 miles, but as long as i maintain the fluids it runs great. i have to tear it down to replace some gaskets. pay'd $700 for the car.

d series are underated most think their for fuel economy so they toss them for b series, heres the truth the SOHC's are better on gas, more reliable and very simple meaning great to build up did I mention you can fully build the d16 for the price of camshafts on a k20, great video, I bought a crx for a kswap, now im saying not in hell i love my d16

@Yffaa2 8-10 lbs with the right tune will get you 200. 20 will get you 300 trust me from experiance. With 24lbs my bro-in-laws car SOHC got 348whp. Dont underestimate the single. There is also not much torque difference on the d16 and b16 when built. Its more of the displacement that makes torque. So the b18 and k20 are your torque monsters, not forgetting the infamouse h22. SOHC can make power but the duals are just a little safer to do it with.

the only downside to turbo is that it is unrelaible sometimes its right there some times it lags supercharger is always on the dot but turbbo can produce more but the more boost the more you are uknowing of when that boost is comin
