  • If you don't like the fame, don't play the game.

  • i would SHIT myself if the came up too me like that

  • Jesus - that is one scary dude.

  • Way To Go Jimmy G.

  • Since I heard that Gandolfini is a pacifist, my only guess is that it's method acting.

  • This arsehole is exactly that, what you see...We spotted him in N.Y city and witnessed him swear like a trooper at some poor waiter in the resto...It ws only after lunch, asking for his bill, something like that...I said to him ,why don't you close your yapper and have a little respect.

He is a human being o.k.?

He gave my table this sheepish ,shit eating grin and he left within 3 minutes...scum fuck...Gemma

  • 'Get away from my son'

Then teach not to be a prick

  • Hear the bitch in the back ground " Get away from my son"

  • scary stuff man, i was across the street watching that, no joke.

  • This isn't Sopranos bitch!!!

  • Did you guys here THAT?! "Get the fuck away from me, do you understand me? Or do you wanna end up with our friend, the one that's down there trying to find nemo?"

  • He is a method actor, so maybe at this point he kinda was Tony Soprano.

  • @evilemperordude Yeah, from what I've heard he wasn't comfortable showing anger so his instructor genuinely pissed him off so he exploded in front of everyone. He said he hated angry scenes like between him and say Lorraine Bracco because he had to get genuinely angry and basically his day was ruined because he'd feel like crap after the scene. I imagine she'd be pretty terrified too!

I always forget just how good an actor he is, he always somehow gets you on Tony's side.

  • As a fan of the show I would have politely asked him if it was ok to take a couple of minutes on the camera or a picture and say hello to my folks and maybe have a casual conversation before shaking his hand and thanking him for taking the trouble and letting him go on his way.Stalking him is sad.the worse thing he could say is no sorry or Fuck off, lol.

  • This video is fucking obviously bullshit. This kid probably stalked the fuck out of him for fucking hours.

  • I could be wrong? But was he carrying a Homer Simpson mask?

  • That was not Gandolfini, that was Tony Soprano!!

  • fake.

  • @xFUCKxYOURxMOTHERx how's this "fake"?

  • The kid should have let James "break his fuckin face", he'd probably own his house right now.

  • @ItsFrankieBoy-I doubt it; Jimmy Gandolfini (granted I'm basing this comment off of the Tony Soprano persona I know from the show),wouldn't give this privacy-invading flunky a dang nickel. I'd picture Jimmy 2keep appealing any kind of lawsuit the scumbag camera man tried to put on him if he did hit him.I hate people that can't respect other people's privacy. Celebrity's are 4 us to watch on TV; not for us to invade their private life . . . as interested in them as we might be.

  • people can fuck off with this bullshit about the prick holding the cameras rights. people get pisssed when you fuck with their privacy. i wish gandolfini did break his fuckin face.

  • @StevieWondersWhy24 Violence produces more violence.

  • @johncfl Sure, an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind right? Ghandi himself would be annoyed if every moron on the street pointed a camera at him. just sayin..... i'd never tape somebody i recognised from the tv. why kind of people do that shit?

  • @StevieWondersWhy24 Relax man. What kind of people start to walk into a store and then back out and chase some kid down the street.

  • @johncfl Sorry dude, i just love gandolfini. He's a great actor. He's not paris hilton.

  • @StevieWondersWhy24 --- Yeah, I've also gotta little advise for the scrawny little home-video-maker. When you see a Mack Truck coming at you; don't just put your camera down -- start running.

  • @MattSchoch That would have been a wise decision....

  • @johncfl --- You're not getting the point my friend --- this doesn't have anything to do with violence; this is a different issue entirely. If you disagree - grab a history book & research the Revolutionary War. There's a million things I could write here, but in sum: If you're not being treated fairly; being taken advantage of; &/or have the feeling that you're getting robbed of your personal dignity in some respect . . . then . . . maybe you'll understand the difference.

  • @StevieWondersWhy24 Yeah, then he could sue G's pants off.

  • I have to say this is disappointing. Come on James, you were the main character on one of the biggest tv shows of all time. The kid is 30 feet from you. What is the goddamn problem???

  • @ItsFrankieBoy You're right. He should've kept going into the store.

  • i was shitting my pants just waching dat ... i saw tony

  • What is this person getting out of standing there and filming James Gandolfini on the street? Why do people feel it's worthwhile to film some famous face they see in public? Are people actually impressed when someone shows them a video like this? Does it reflect any good on the person doing the filming? Does it somehow validate them, that they got someones autograph or a photo?

Seriously this is a symptom of the pandemic stupidity.

  • @ecclesiasticous Maybe, but since we don't live in the Middle East under an Ayatollah, there is nothing illegal about what the kid was doing.

James needs to get over himself.

  • @ecclesiasticous TMZ is making a killing out of this kind of happening. Tough guy Gando should have continued into the shop.

  • I think it's pretty disrespectful to film people in their private lives... whether they are celebrities or not. I think Gandolfini was right for confronting the guy and telling him to fuck off. He isn't a fucking zoo animal in a cage.

  • To be fair I would have probably come up to him and asked if it was ok to film him or get me on there with him as a tourist, lol. The worst he would have said was no sorry.Probably would have asked him to do a Tony on me just to show the folks bak home.

  • what a dick. if you're famous, EXPECT TO BE FILMED. it's a public place FFS.

  • @photon24 What? He's trying to go about his normal fucking life, he doesn't need twats with the views like you following him around when he's trying to shop, you are the reason we can't interact with famous people more, they don't want people following them around with cameras 24/7, they want to live a normal life.

  • @LDreamerDude yall both need to chill out bro. he was hardly following him. you dunno the full details and neither do I, but in the video he's just standing in place filming him.

  • @photon24 Actually, it was said that the guy was following him around for quite a while... It's still rude to film people 24/7, how would you feel if you were shopping and when you looked over your shoulder, you saw someone filming you constantly?

  • @LDreamerDude

I didn't have all that info. All I read is the short description here on youtube. Anyway, if I could have all that money, I'd put up with it. sure, it would get annoying, but fame is a two-way street.

  • @photon24 i call bullshit on your entire point of view. Having millions of dollars does not make up for being stalked. Which is what this is; make no mistake, it's the definition of stalking, of harassment.

How is fame a two way street? Someone gets famous from plying their trade in music or film or tv and so automatically that means people are allowed follow them everywhere and film them all the time and interrupt them? Seriously, i want you to explain to me how you think that is ok....

  • @ecclesiasticous It's not okay for Gando to stop in his tracks, back out of the store and go rough up some kid, who is nowhere near him, down the street taking a picture. You and Gando both need to get a life. The problem with people today is that they have no control over their emotions. Blow it off and go about your business.

  • @johncfl - Um, yes it is okay. TV/Movie stars are for us to watch and appreciate on TV; not invade their personal lives. The man was with his family AND . . . you DON'T know the whole story. That stupid kid had been following Gando around for more than an hour; taping both him and his family. So you get a life, and more importantly, get your facts straight. Capiche? And don't tell people they should just "blow it off." If someone was heckling u, u wouldn't just sit there & do/say nothing.

  • @ecclesiasticous anyone can be filmed at any time. it is legal to film someone in public. are you aware that there are cameras? do you know what they are for? there's no such thing as a reasonable expectation of privacy in public.

  • @ecclesiasticous amen.

  • @ecclesiasticous A Duke University Neurosurgeon (Best in the world) will save 9 people's lives EVERY day by performing some of the most difficult operations in the world. They work 75+ hours a week and often have to be on call 24 hours a day for their critically ill patients, and require 12 years of school.

They make about 750k a year.

Gandolfini made 10 MILLION dollars a season for the Sopranos. And he can't be bothered to let a fan film him?

You explain how that is fucking okay.

  • @rjboni YOU explain how is it fucking okay for a man to be followed everywhere he goes by people who film and harass him, it's got nothing to do with money you retard

  • @mdavis1992 Okay, I'll explain. Actors sell a product, just like every business. Their product is their fame, in hollywood this is called their "Star Power". Some actors are even rated by actuaries based on how much money they will add to a project.

Their "Star Power" is based on how much exposure they have to the public--so their entire lively hood is based off of their presence under public scrutiny. The more money the actor makes, the more in the public eye he is. (Continued next post.)

  • Comment removed

  • @mdavis1992 So everything the actor has is based off of them KNOWINGLY and WILLINGLY selling their perception to the public. They actively pursued this exposure when it made them money--and now they wish to "shut it down" whenever THEY desire?

Does the doctor not respond to a critical call because he is out at dinner? No, he gets paid extra because that aspect is part of the job. Just like being in the public eye is PART of an actors job and they are compensated well for it.

  • @rjboni that doctor analogy is fucking ridiculous, actors are not compensated for being harassed and stalked, they are compensated for the talent they bring to their chosen medium, there is a fine line between doing press releases and interviews etc and being relentlessly pursued while you're just trying to go about your day

  • @mdavis1992 The doctor analogy tied into payment. We consider payment of the TOP neurosurgeons in the world to be sufficient at 750k. This payment includes 12 years of school, heavy work load, continued life-long learning AND being on call at least 3 nights a week.

Gandolfini made more in one year than said doctor would make in 20. So you're saying his acting ALONE warrants 20-30 times the wage of the top neurosurgeons on EARTH?

Really? No wonder this country is a fucking joke.

  • @mdavis1992 So as you can see, claiming his acting "skill" alone is the reason for his wage is fucking stupid. He gets paid because he can be marketed by HBO to sell product placements. His payment IS public consumption. It's what makes his money.

If he doesn't like it then he shouldn't be acting. Tons of actors have left Hollywood to protect their privacy, he can to. Oh, wait he won't because he likes the money and fame, well then cry me a river when his photo is taken.

  • @rjboni I wasn't saying that he doesn't get paid through marketing, THIS ISN'T MARKETING HIM you fucking idiot, it's a guy with a camera harassing him, forgive me if I can't argue with some butthurt nerd who who uploads edited videos of himself playing world of warcraft, you and every single paparazzi douchebag should kill themselves

  • @mdavis1992 Again, he SOLD his fucking fame. He SOLD his image. He MADE himself into a public figure. He put himself out there, and openly welcomed the attention in order to make himself a FORTUNE.

That's what an idiot like you does not get..He AGREED to be photographed, he AGREED to supply the appetites of the masses the moment he took money for marketing. There is no bitching about it after you take your 20 million a year. You TOOK that money with the fame of it implied.

  • @mdavis1992 And lol at the ad hominem attacks. Nothing screams a weak argument like attempting to attack the person.

Anyway, the supreme court agrees with me--in NY Times vs Sullivan, it is implied actors give up certain rights to privacy due to the nature of their profession. You see-any intelligent person realizes part of an actors salary stems from their implied diminished privacy from their consent to public scrutiny.

I know you're a little slow, but chew on that one skippy.

  • First off, why the fuck are you filming him? He should have fucked your faggot ass up. Second, have you not seen the sopranos?

  • What an idiot that kid is.

  • lol , how can you hate gandolfini for this ? do you even imagine how annoying is when everybody films you and shit . that guy was a paparazzi , nothin else , he was just waiting for gandolfini to hit him or something . just watch 0:17 . fuck paparazzi'ys

  • @Smale45OG he probly was waiting for gandolfini to hit him, I and pretty much make a bolt for it if the person comes after us

  • These actors try to become their character, it's pretty sad. Chalk it up to a theater actor like Gandolfini who does a nice Tony Soprano impersonation. Tough guy I can see his balls breakin' haha...

  • You don't video tape a celebrity like it is a fucking animal. If you do that you deserve a kick in the nuts. Go to something where he is actually doing something for his fans and THEN make photo's or video's. There is something called PRIVACY and when you are famous you have very little of it so respect the man for what he has done and leave him the fuck alone when he is on his own. Imagine every fucking idiot on the street coming up to you and making photo's of you every fucking day.

  • fuck u john, what do you know ? he maybe have annoyed him with that for hours, so please shit the fuck up

  • @kebabrullemums maybe we need to go with what we see here in the video -- which is a brute using force just cause a guy took a pic. so go fuck yerself. U like Gando the ruffyin y don't u marry him. violence begets violence -- so stop sayin it's okay fuck face.

  • Fucck Gandolfini. The video appears to show that a guy is innocently filming a movie star as he enters a store -- something that anyone might do on a public street. So Gando, instead of going in, goes completely out of his way and threatens and apparently manhandles this guy. So we are to give him license for being a tough guy on some kid. Fuck Gando. Learn to chill baby! Try anger management.

  • @johncfl ever wonder who the two women standing infront of him where trying to conceal him, gandolfini doesn't like it when the paps get close to his actual family, maybe you'd understand if you where in his position, unfortunately for you and most of the people you speak to.. nobody gives a flying fuck who you are or what you have to say, okay pumpkin?

  • @GazaStew fuck u n the white horse u rode in on. What I see is a man out of control. If I went to take his pic n he touched me I'd sue his ass for battery n win. Don't be tellin me that violence is okay, okay jack-o-lantern head? Y u stickin up 4 him in the 1st place. There's enuf violence in the world, y perpetuate it? U probably like the NY cast on Jersey Shore who go aroun punchin people 4 no reason. Oh actually the reason is to make $30,000 an episode.

  • @johncfl seen one episode of jersey shore and i did not like it, never watched another episode, but i am a pretty heavy duty guy, bench a fair sum and have a pretty decent boxing record under my belt, violence is fine if used in the right situation and doesn't cause anyone serious harm, the guy pissed Gandolfini off, so he threatened him not to do it again, i dont think he will, job done.. violence solved Gandolfini's problem, this guy was obv. a pap ! james loves his fans

  • @johncfl i lol'd

  • @johncfl Anger management? LOL he went into therapy look how that turned out. They made a whole tv series about it iirc.

  • @ProducShuns Good one.

  • @ProducShuns --- Witty joke; but the actual substance of your comment is pure idiocy if you really meant it. If you didn't mean it; 'apologies for my comment.

  • @MattSchoch No I meant it. I think he was having panic attacks so he went into therapy and they decided to make a reality show about his life called The Sopranos

  • @ProducShuns Really?

  • That's not James Gandolfini, it's Tony Soprano being himself jajajajaja

  • Big fucking deal - if he laid a hand on me just for filming, I'd sue him for all he's worth!

  • @johncfl Fuck you

  • @pyllywaltteri Do u endorse violence? If so, then how about this 4 u -- eat shit and die!

  • @johncfl What? :D

  • @johncfl Sure for what? Touching you? Talking loud infront of you?

  • yeah, good on Gandolfini........not. Notice how he burst into soprano mode too? lol
