@TheSKYizFalling A wax of the small version of Iron Horn was sent to a place in Oklahoma where they scan the figure into a computer and then they cut it out of foam with lazers. It's like taking a 3 megapixal picture and blowing it up.. so detail is lost.. so that's why I'm resculpting over the face I recieved with the life size foam.. It's just an oil based clay.
Watching again just now, David, I noticed that beginning at 4:54, your hand beating against the clay matches the beat of the song in the backgroud perfectly. = ) Once again, nicely done!
Great work David. I also like the creative use of the cutting board. LOL Your work is interesting to watch and of course the sculpture speaks for itself. Wonderful!!!
I am always impressed with your patience during what is obviously a very complicated process, David. Your creations are a labor of love, and results are fantastic. Absolutely amazing. = )
Thanks bub... lol.. I was scared when I started today. Usually I start with nothing. But this time I had a lasered piece of foam that cost several thousands of dollars to produce and I'm cutting it to pieces... lol
May I ask what your using to mold the clay over and what type of clay are you using?
