I tried this and I went to 'email options'. But they said I can't change my main primary email. Is there any to get around this? They let me set up a 'backup' email for forgotten passwords and 'more' whatever that means. Is there anyway to get around this?

@catsinthesun1 You have to check the account that exists on that email addy and delete the account. That way you can use it again. - Have you no recollection of having made a youtube account under the other email addy? If not, you should file a ticket to Google/Youtube for a password retrieval.
