  • That's great Todd!!! My alma mater!

  • Oh my God! This is brilliant. @henrywiv2226 - YOU ARE SO RIGHT!!!!

  • My home state!

  • i love delaware (: all of its bipolar weather, and smallness. honestly, i couldn't imagine living any where else <3

  • The beaches > the shore!! Wilmington DE, represent [:

  • notice they say nothing about slower lower delaware except the beach. LOL NEWARK DE REPRESENT! lol

  • Everything in this song is so true! I'm from Wilmington and I liked seeing the "A Place to be Somebody" sign in the beginning. I'm also a senior at UD, so I liked seeing the pic of Jon Stewart on the floor of Trabant! And as I like to remind my roomies from NJ, it's the beach, not the shore! :)

  • Way cool...thank you

  • My cousin is in this videoooo!!

There's only one thing I like to do most in Delaware..... leave. :)

  • @TheTruthWillhurt Have to agree with you and we did. Have to keep reminding myself they gave us Biden.

  • It was a warm reminder of our great state! I will always be proud to be a Delawarean even though I have lived in California for more years than Delaware now.

  • sussex country rules!

  • The Charcoal Pit still exists in Delaware. There is one on Concord Pike, one on Kirkwood Highway, one on Pike Creek, and I think there is one in Bear.

Delaware is not as nice as it used to be. Too many people moving in and it is now one of the dirtiest States; people just throw trash everywhere.....so sad!!

  • @smyrnabee Come south to Kent & Sussexs its not dirty here but there are too many people from Jersy moving in.

  • I loved the video. How true. I used to live in Rehoboth Beach . I miss living in Delaware. Elaine

  • I lived outside of Newark for 17 years. Moved south in 90 - still miss it. Saw many things in the video I remember. Good question - where is the Pit? Shame they didn't put the Deer Park and couldn't put the Balloon it it.

  • @Stratster1 I hate to break the news but the Balloon is no longer with us. They tour down the whole building and built a condo building on the site. There is a Cosi and a resturant called The Balloon Wine House in the building however. Newark's Main Street has changed so much in the last 5 years (yes the Deer Park is still there).

  • @kathrynell1979 sorry, tore, not tour...my bad! lol

  • The balloon has been torn down and its condos now

  • "...the beach is NOT the shore..." LOVE IT!!

  • haha! love it!

  • Where was the Pit?

  • As one economically stuck living down here in Florida this video brought tears to my eyes. I was born and raised in Delaware, and I spend 24 hours of every day missing living in my home state. At 60 years of age I am sure that I will die down here without ever seeing Delaware again. To those of you who live in Delaware cherish what a gem that you have.

  • @RCP729 Its a gem but rapidly moving towards Jersy as they have all moved here. The population is up 150,000 in 10 years.

  • @mwkessler --- I know what you mean about the non-Delawareans moving in to the state by the truckloads. I moved from Fenwick Island to Florida in 1998 .... but I have relatives and friends who keep me up-to-speed about what is happening up there, good and bad. I still would give anything to live out my final years in Delaware, especially when you consider the hell-hole I live in now ... Flori-duh.

  • perfect! I love it!

  • Loved it! Too funny and soooo true!

  • i recognize rehobeth beach boardwalk

  • LOL that was hilarious :-) And I'm a delawarean too ;-)

  • the church at 1:47 is my church!!!!!

  • @elliebanks65 same here ellen woo! wait u r ellen right?

  • Woo hoo! I'm humble to be a Delawarean! Two thumbs up.

  • NICE!!!! 'tis nice to live in the little state too!! ^_^

  • mmmmmmmn Bobbie. uuuh huh huh.

  • Great!!

  • makes me wish I was there right now---I grew up in Delaware and went to CR..now live in Colorado but come HOME to Delaware every summer--Thrashers fries--Rehoboth Beach--miss it

  • @TheMomanne Class of 1985!
