@t1mus The track is damp which gives the twitchier buggy a disadvantage. She can drive, and very well at that. She just chose the wrong time to lap the cars.
Looks bad on the Buggy but i don't think VBH adapted too well to the buggy. If the RAGE Factory Test Driver Guy Hodgkin was Driving he would have destroyed the Clio. I have a Rage with a ZX14R engine and i'd take anyone on at OULTON PARK or CADWELL PARK in a Clio no worrys.. Anyone up for the challenge?
Not that much difference in weight really, The ZX14R may only have 17BHP extra but the real gain is the Torque which is nearly twice that of the Fireblade and makes such a difference in the Buggy with it obviously being a lot heavier than the bike..Power is available a lot lower down with the ZX14R engine whereas with the Fireblade engine i had to redline every gear to get same output as i do at say 8k RPM with the ZX14R

The Clio is incredible. It's a road car you can use every day, weighs twice as much, it's got 5 star Ncap rating and still, it's way faster than buggy.
Bought the 197 RS, Great little car, noisy on the motorway, which is a good thing as it makes me go onto more A/B roads :) and the handling, just amazing, even makes me a hero!
Vicky Butler-Henderson may not be quite as good as her co-presenters Tiff Needell or Jason Plato but she's still a very good driver. Very much better than Clarkson, Hamster and Captain Slow - they're TV personalities NOT proper drivers!.
More important still, VBH is very cute and has a gorgeous naughty laugh (and a great ass!). Let's face it - she's the only motoring journalist/driver that I definitely would. Wouldn't you?.
The RX (or Rage) vehicle is fab. Had this one been set-up for tarmac it would have won easily. Also, I'm told that the very lovely V.B.H. didn't really adapt very well to the rally style of driving required to get the best from the Rage buggy. Thers's now a fantastic race series for the RX150 in the U.K.
rage buggy all the way, especially since you can bolt on some dirt tyres and adjust the suspension ranges, and get it off the ground over motorcross circuits. try that in a clio!!
