you should try kind of Kanji master game on DS.

Try to talk natural japanese not making sentence before hand, memorise them and then when you remember everything make a vids. it looks very unnatural. if you do so you cant be able to communicate in japanese.

I'm suprised you don't like school as you seem very intelligent, saying that i wasn't a fan of the classroom myself and i wish i was taught at home. I was never too good with other people and was nervous myself also lol.
