They really don't have a virus in them, I know this because my friend got one and scanned it with a TON of different antivirus software, and it all returned safe. Plus that is not a "virus chip," they have those little circles in zune's and many other mp3 players (mine had one and it was made by sansa)

The latest iPod's have Shit chipsets, which equals horrible audio quality, the best audio quality for the dollar out there is the Cowon D2 or any player using a CC1600 chipset or a Wolfonsen chipset.

P.s. Audio quality improves greatly if you invest in some good headphones.

I like the iRiver H10. I got mine for 20 bucks on eBay, because it had a dead HDD, put a new one in it for another 20 bucks. The only problem I had with it was the original firmware SUCKED, but It's compatible with Rockbox, which is much better. It has great sound quality, good battery life, and with Rockbox, it plays mpeg videos quite nicely. Problem is, it's worn out... skip button doesn't work... I think i'm going to try a 20 gb H10 next XD

Also, having had some experience with iClones they do vary greatly in quality, many even outperform iPods and iPhones.
