@Zooter123 Ofcourse there is a soul....you do not need "scientific" proof or evidence to prove its existence all you have to do is look within and you will find it.Death is a choice to everyone just ask people who have had "near death experiences" most of them actually die and come back because they choose to.The soul is immortal there is really no such thing as nonexistence,once something exists it continues to exist indefinitely (Remember Energy is neither created nor destroyed)

(only changes form).Before the great floods like those mentioned in the Bible,the Quran and countless other belief systems man was capable of living up to 900 years this was because the atmosphere of the Earth permitted him to do so and like all other Biological life forms at the time was much bigger than the current man (Earth's atmosphere contained up to 70% Oxygen as opposed to 20% nowadays) :)

@Ignozi I'm sorry if that sounds like elitism. In my view point if you contribute nothing for society. There is no reason for you to get eternal life. How do you deserve something, if you do nothing?
I can't wait for it to happen. I will try to help it , by moving it faster once a get my Ph.D in Robotics.

Sorry if this off topic, but i'm interested in pursuing robotics as well and i was wondering if you could give some pointers on how you successfully navigated yourself into said field, ex: university studies, majors, minors etc? thx you!:) I was told that you should at least excel in a certain field of engineering first like software engineering. what are your thoughts? :)

@Ignozi If things keep going like they do now, elitism will not be a matter of choise but just the result. What I mean is, only those with enough money will be able to pay the latest in technology to live a much longer life. But with al this technology we must evolve into an advanced economic system because more and more jobs are getting done by technology and more and more people lose their purpose in modern day economy

@Zooter123 Yes there is such a thing as a soul! we are spirit (soul) and we have a body. We are here on earth to have a human experience. How can we be the body when it has a limited life span? Souls experience the earth dimension through their living human bodies. We are soul because being a human being is a temporary experience. We exist as souls before our bodies are born.

@Zooter123 There was a time scientists believed the earth was flat, until we developed the knowledge and technology to prove otherwise. There was a time scientists believed there was nothing smaller than that which could be observed by the human eye, until microscopes proved otherwise. The point being is perhaps we do not have the capability, and perhaps we will never obtain the capability, to observe the soul. But your uncomfortable truth is not a truth at all - it is your opinion.
