Anyone who lived through the 80s knew that the likes of Scot, Atkin and Waterman were assholes, so why emulate/copy them. I mean I understand the KLF's point in doing so, it was mocking SAW, record biz etc. But the KLF's irony was always going to be lost on the masses which is where it would have counted most, instead the sheep just ate it all up, as they have and always will do.

First heard this in a music shop on Greenwich (sarf-east London,)around 1991. It blew my mind. listened to the whole album and continued to listen for the rest of the year with a portable ghetto-blaster a Sharp GF9595 plugged into the cig. lighter of my white hand painted Morris Marina when I was recycling like an urban gypsy. None of my pals in the U.S liked it very much so I had to literally listen to it underneath my pillow. Still love it -magical stuff...thanks for posting.
