@kseadam8907 I've had a few times where I try to open a text, and I just get like the white screen with the HTC logo, and I have to lock and unlock the phone to get back into it... but that was about as bad as it got. Plus, once I got the gingerbread update, seemed to clear most of those problems up. Alongside the fact that it now works alot faster.

@kseadam8907 turn your phone on, go to your home screen, press the menu button, then click settings, go all the way to the second thing from the bottom and it says "Software Update", click that and click "Check New" and it'll find the update and it takes like ten minutes to download and stuff. :D

I got this phone on January 20, 2011 and its all right. I actually want to get the iPhone4 for Verizon, but I'm kinda tied down with the contract. I got mine for free at BestBuy so for a free phone I can't really complain. Don't get me wrong I love my Incredible but I guess I was expecting something else.

@Jimmd0 No. I just got the DROID Incredible yesterday and its amazing. The keyboard is very fast and the keys are actually really big and I use the Portrait keyboard. So, if you don't need a real keyboard, get the Incredible because its probably the best software keyboard on all the phones on Verizon.

@Jimmd0 The Droid Incredible has an amazing UI, HTC Sense, which is very neat and creates many add-ons to the Android software. Like the great keyboard, and the many widgets it has. Also you can use Friend Stream which collects data from social networks and puts it together into 1 app. The DROID X is also a great phone, but its bigger and has Motorola's Motoblur UI which is great too. You can resize widgets an access your Motoblur account with social networks, the Incredibles battery dies faster

@Jimmd0 Droid Incredible because its a great size, small, light, and great UI. And the battery is starting to last longer everyday. Charge it about every 8-10 hours. And all I did was remove some social network widgets, and lower my brightness to about 20%

I have the incredible. when you take it outside in direct sunlight you cannot see the screen at all. And its design is very poor with the plastic and rubber garbage..feels and looks cheap

I dont get why these guys always have to focus on the look of this phone. I personally like the simple design. Not overdoing anything. I dont like the Droid 2 bcuz of the silver metalic feel finish. This phone is HELLA better. cept for the fact that the battery life on the incredible...SUCKS!!!

For only having the phone for a few days I rate it a 4 out of 5 for now. The only issue I have is a few times it's frozen up on me. When I looked up online it seems like that is a common problem but people said these phones work like computers so they're not perfect and to be patient. And the battery life is limited but as long as you charge it once a day you should be good for the rest of the day. The guy at verizon said smartphones all have fast battery drainage.

I don't know what phone they're running free this week they said each week for the month of Dec. they will be giving away phones for free from each of the phone companies (at&t, verizon, t-mobile etc). If u can't find it there check Sam's Club they had it for free too that's where my cousin got hers. But I don't have a Sam's club near me.

@tatervader502 That's the same thing I thought when I was deciding between the Incredible and the Droid 2 Global. My dad has the Incredible so he let me fiddle around with it for a bit and I must say that the touch screen is phenomenal, especially for messaging. I have big hands, so touch screen typing usually doesn't work for me. But the phone was light and the on screen keyboard was a very comfortable size. I eventually ended up buying the Incredible. I'm a very satisfied customer.
