@strangereveryday I agree... the song is great, but in the movie, they cut a 4+ minute song about in half, as well as they leave out quite a few of the original lyrics. pay atention to the cars. the order is repaeted. same cars all the time on both sides. lokk at the order on the overhead shot and then on the close up. the same order of cars pass him twice. and on second 42 look at the couple on the background walkin. when the buss passes they sudenly disapear.

I bet the part where the bus comes along is where the transition is, all they would have needed was a green screen and a tracked shot; there are no shadows or anything.

how did they film this shot? It must start off shot from a helicopter, but there are no cuts throughout the shot of him riding. It then looks like a crane. oh, nevermind, i think i just figured it out. it is all from a helicopter, and very steady. if you watch the people walking and the cars, and really look at jim sturgess' movements, you can see it is a slowmo shot from the helicopter, which means the film was shot at a super fast fps, i assume. i am just taking my first production course.

I though it was a helicopter at first also, i watched one of the special features on the dvd; It is 2 shots, one helicopter, 1 crane. the cut between is filled with CG so it makes it look like one continuos shot. Maybe the reason 2 people disappear
