what he does is ... basically the thing john mayer does on stop this train , or at least thats were the technique is more famous . its a kinda slap pick flick thing . its quite nice if you get it right . its hard at the beggining ... but once ou get it you will not want any thing else !

Im sorry but marty i knoe a way that sounds alot more like the album. it doesnt have pauls little hand struming in there but it has correct finger positioning on the frets and finger picking style.

@bambatawake okay, what you do is keep your fingers in the same position. pluck both the a and b string together, then the g string alone, then the b string alone, then the a string alone, and repeat :)

A couple of years back I tried learning this song. I failed. After playing guitar for a while I watched this video and learned it in 10 minutes. Good teacher. I've seen your videos on next level too. Definitely don't recommend if you are just starting guitar.
