Nope, there used to be a mode where there were steps designed to be done together, so one person's pad would have different moves than the other, but they would fit together, think it was called couples or something, they should bring it back...

tournament scene? what tournament scene? it seems the scene is almost dead. I remember when I could travel to tournaments almost weekly. =( maybe it's just where I live but it seems no one is doing it anymore, just old school veterans.

There are a few, you can find a big one every month or so but you might have to travel. Next big one is GOMX is Ohio in April. Last big one was FFA9 in Pennsylvania. There are a few old players there but a ton of new ones, it's all PA, and there are so many new-school high-speed bar players like me XD
