  • i think its nice ik vindt het leuk

  • Tradition is gone...do you really thinkk the Dutch still dance like this??? No WAY! They think money money money! Dont come to Holland for tradition. we have none. Holland is a shit country!

  • strange o.o check out : hungarian folk dance :P

  • @sujoms These are americans with a wrong insight of what our country is, we do not dance with clogs for example. I'm sure they are sorry for having your eyes burned.

  • @4chan3 A long time ago, Dutch immigrants came to the United States. When they did so, this was how you danced. They didn't have eurodance back in the 19th century.

  • @Kriegsarschmann This is americanized, clogs are for ARBEID.

  • @4chan3 Uh, yeah, what is your point, exactly? How is dancing in clogs strictly an American thing?

We got it from somewhere and as far as I know the fucking Italians aren't known for their klompen. If you want to see Americanized clog dancing, visit the Appalachian Mountains or the American South. If you want to get really technical, what you see here originated in Wales. So it's neither American nor Dutch, originally.

  • Ik kan niet zo goed dansen hoor!!!!

  • Lovely. So sad that you in America preserve our cultural heritage better than we do in Holland.

  • embarassing...

  • Je bent gewoon jeloers dat je deze dans niet zelf kan.

  • je bent gewoon jeloers dat je niet zelf dit kan.

  • I meant the 20th century btw :)

  • Funny that the Clog Dance only originated in Holland in the beginning of the 19th century. You never see it around here though today and wasn't even popular during the 19th century. Funny how Dutch-Americans nowadays have twisted the not-so-old 'traditional' dance into a Disney-esque type dance which in my opinion is rather cheap and almost tacky.

  • On almost every ceremony (the clothing and clogs) are present. the dancing you must see as an atraction but the clogs and te clothing are tradition for more than 7 century's
