  • Favorite song from what is a great album.

  • One of my fave tracks too!!

Thanks for putting it on YouTube:)xx

  • Bust my eardrums at the beginning ha ha

  • bought this album a few years ago, sweet mercy this was my favorite

  • Billy is sodamn hot with his own hair.

I like him bald,I love him curly.

Let's not even start with D'arcy. So freaking awesome.

  • darcy looks yummy

  • i like this song !!!!!

  • an "adore" song with a "gish" picture. hmm... does anybody think they could have wrote "pug" in '91 with chamberlin on drums? weird question i know.

  • Hahaha I picked this picture cause Billy still had his hair. The original Smashing Pumpkins...<3

  • @JONISinc I always LOVED Billy's gorgeous hair <3333

  • No, I do not think they could of. It is not even so much about Chamberlin either. Billy and the band evolved into the masterpiece that was "Adore". They band as a whole had a different attitude back in 91. 91 was a much different time than 96/97.

  • @musicaleclecto

Nah man , this song really wouldn't have worked in gish. Too electronic. Good though.

  • desire me so deeply

    drain and kick me hard!

  • Mi canción favorita de los Smashing ♥

  • love the vocals on this tune.

  • I like this song very much!!!!!!!!!!

  • I like this song!!!!

  • this song is not about pugs :(

  • GREAT pic of the band! where d'ya find it?

  • I used to love the way this song bassed out in my old car.

  • Mon Dieu, cette chanson est superbe, j'en reste sans voix à chaques fois que je l'écoute. 100 fois que je me dis que j'ai vraiment bien fait d'acheter Adore.

  • SP 4 LYFE

I like the live version of ths that they did in brazil i think? anyways every song made by SP is a hit all like 30000 of them.

  • Version from that show is raw.

  • 17 years old in my room by myself watching Deer Hunter on a Friday night. By myself. Playing Mario Kart 64 on my own. Listening to 'Pug' in the background on CD. Trying to hold back tears. It felt so good to cry even though I had no one. The song summed up everything for me. It was just my interpretation of the 'sounds'. Despite what the song might actually mean really. Sad times when they happened. Depression, valium, anxiety, low self esteem. The song brings me back. Great song
  • @OSKARSY11

    And yet you survived

  • @OSKARSY11 We need to hear sounds that recognize the pain inside.

  • @OSKARSY11 What did you do? I'm like that now, TELL ME HOW TO FIX THIS!

  • @OSKARSY11

Been through it... Kinda going through a "having no one" thing now still though but somehow handling it better.

  • #1 favorite song on this album!

  • this is my fucking fave song from them!

  • I'm really happy there isn't any hate comments on here. I fucking ADORE this song. It's my favorite off the Adore CD aside from Ava Adore, of course. This was the first album I heard from the Pumpkins aside from all their mainstream hits.

    SP<3

  • Jimmy looks like a badass in this pic haha.

  • why is it people bag out bands like the pumpkins saying for example this album was a faliure, the last was huge and this1 flopped, no band should make a album like the last, each album the pumpkins have made is a great and each has its own sound and story, let the band grow and move with the moment, Adore in my opinion is one of the m,ore complex and best written and sounding albums theve done, its amaster peice!!! so deep and the different sounds are whats made it, ROCK ON PUMPKINS!!!!

  • I think ADORE is an amazing cd...it just had a little bit of trouble because it came out after Mellon Collie and Jimmy Chamberlin had recently got kicked out. I love it though.

  • LOVE the intro!

  • i think jimmy wasnt in the band yet i know they used a drum machine for s0me of their songs, and i looked at the picture in the video thinking who the hell is the girl at the front...OH MA GAWD ITS BILLY!

  • wait... were all 4 of them still together on this album?

  • no, Jimmy got temporarily kicked out for doing drugs (heroin). So, they used a drum machine to record all the tracks. jimmy came back in 1999.

  • "Ride the telephone." My friends and I have had lengthy discussions as to what that could possibly mean.

Man, I fucking love this song. Hope I can persuade my boyfriend to let it be our wedding dance song, lol.

  • Actually, it's "On the telephone."

  • haha that would be tight. i wouldn't make it my wedding dance though, i'd save it for the honeymoon lol.

  • Esta cancion es la polla!

    te teletransporta...

  • i love this tune, i really wish that smashing pumpkins could reform from the basis, i mean the original members, not this shit that they putting infront of us, its a disgrace

  • This is my favorite Adore song. It does seem sort of magical. Several of their songs feel that way... other examples (for me) are Soma and Thru The Eyes of Ruby.

I think Billy was better with hair, by the way. xD

  • This is one of their best song all a different and perfect sound, this leaves you in another world, completely magic

  • The pumpkins are my favorite band. I love the diversity of their music. Great lyrics, great melodies. They don't make it like them anymore (even the new pumpkins don't do it like they used to ne more)

  • As in the 'new' Pumpkins on Adore? This was the one we were all waiting for when I was growing up and I went and bought it the first day it came out after school. I thought this is shit, apart from 'Pug'. With maturity, 'Adore' is one of their best albums, it is complete. When it cam out I felt, with hindsight we were all hoping for something amazing and heavy and rocky but Billy did something better than that and wrote an album so personal and private that

  • the critics just didn't get BUT true fans did. I'm 27 in a couple of months so work that out, I'm not spouting bull shit and I wasn't disagreeing woth you my friend, because the pumpkins were who they were when they wrote zero, xyu, fucking all the rest. I apologise I am drunk!

  • And when keyboard players had fingers!

  • thats true but you know what it is, its that billy himself said he wanted to reintroduce the SP in Zeitgeist and at the same time capture new fans, but he tried this by using a mix of what i consider Adore Mixed With some Machina and MAchina 2 and a few hooks from earlier albums which isnt very good idea. Luckily if you go hear the new song he wrote fro the sky saxon tribute concert it honestly reminds you of Mellon Collie,

  • wow man check out corgans hair in that picture. he actually HAS some.

  • and his singing isnt strained like on Zeitgeist so I know they will come Out with something new and good

  • This was my favorite song on Adore too
