when i first started listenin to COB i hated the idea of a keyboard in a metal band since i had been listening to Lamb of GOd alot previously but i realised that the keyboard is so fkn badass. Adds more variety to the songs.

COB is not comparable to CC because they are on a whole different plane, I mean, Alexi is one of the greatest living guitarists and CC is known for squat except illegibility. I had torrents of their albums for over six months and never bothered listening to them until that day. Now that I like them so much I actually want to get the CD's (i don't like having burnts of what I like a lot) but it's difficult to get Finland music here. (at least not the most popular albums)

Melodic Death Metal is THE genre of this band. The music doesn't make it death. The vocals pushes it there. because of the keyboards if you had Tarja singing, you'd be closer to symphonic metal. In fact that's what pissed me off of this band at first. All I heard was similarities to Nightwish, Since his vocals don't work with the genre, I didn't like it. BUT I decided to listen to an album for once, then it grew on me.
