i have seen an engine that size before

They need to slow that thing down. That is VERY dangerously close to becoming out of control. I have 24 hit n miss and throttle governed engines like this ranging from 1915-1937. This sickens me to see the owner of this engine allowing this.

@uraldneprvw When it doesnt fire, the exhaust is left open, so when the oil enters the cylinder, it gets vaporized from the heat.

oh thats nothing! a member in the engine club my dad is in has a 2 cyl 100hp cooper bessemer that ran a huge 3phase generator to power a hospitial in emergencys. now that gets the gound shaking! and its loud!!!
