  • assassin is much better movie.

  • Revangah da ninjah!

  • I always remember that old Japanese lady being able to fight til she got impaled.

  • Can someone tell me the name of that song? It's EPIC

  • If this movie wasn't on HBO while I was a child, I would not be the person I am today.

  • wow

  • hi, where can I download this movie?

  • Memories. Very first movie based on ninjas that I watched since i was a kid. Thought it was the coolest thing ever when he used that zip line going from building to building. Good stuff

  • Looool

  • Comment removed

  • @technopath100

maybe : Ninja in the dragon's Den

  • @technopath100

Ninjas in the Dragons Den - (Ninja Kommando)

  • It was this type of bad acting, cartoon-like fighting & unrealistic B.S. that made martial arts the joke that it is today.

    Thanks.

  • @AJNITROX Actually you can blame that on The Karate Kid which spawned hundreds of McDojo's teaching crappy watered down Karate and Tae Kwon Do to 4 year olds in suburban malls.

  • @Feijoada1 EXACTLY... hundreds of years of honor & tradition thrown in the crapper because the masses saw a hand full (and then some) of bad movies. THANK YOU.

As you say... it's not martial arts that is funny, it's these lame-ass movies that are the REAL joke.

  • @AJNITROX Well my point was these movies didn't really have anywhere NEAR the impact Karate Kid had on kids and their parents and lame McDojo schools opening up everywhere. This movie was more like a cult following. No one was really learning to be actual Ninjas. Everyone kinda knew it was a joke to begin with. Hell, real Ninja didnt even wear those outfits. The Kabuki stagehand guys did during plays which was like 200 years after Ninja disappeared an were no longer around.

  • america martial art movie was not great , hong asia martial art are freaky good

  • Best Ninja Movie ever!

  • I also watched this movie many times as ,a kid and id fogooten how great it was to see it on youtube all these years later just reminded me of that thanks stunthacon for posting kewl!!!1

  • Revangjah the Ninjah!

  • 0:57 What's that? I raff i ruse?

  • jimmy page is a ninja

  • If u can guys, watch 9 Deaths of a Ninja. Sort of futuristic get up. Loved the shurikens and his sword.

  • It's a little weird when Kosugi says, "They killed my wife and my son" then the other dude says, "Come with me. We'll open a gallery and you and your SON can be safe..."

  • @Herreken i kno..it did he had two sons..lol the younger one died..lol

  • @ShadowAgentFox Yeah, I know. It just sounded kinda weird, ha ha.

  • @Herreken probably had 2 sons

  • @bobshark123 Yeah, I think he had a baby boy.

  • @Herreken i klilled a man

  • @bobshark123 Turn yourself in to the police, mang.

  • @Herreken yeah, like thats your opinion

  • @bobshark123 Actually, that's probably what I'd do. It's not like there's any place for me to run to. Maybe you have a hideout or something.

  • can't seem 2 find the widescreen anywhere

  • Best NInja there is!

  • Great film very under rated...watched this alot when i was young.

  • The scence of the golden builing is the Golden Pavillion, in Kyoto. I am living in Kyoto at the moment. I watched this when I was a kid and now I live in the city where its set ( I guess).

  • loved this as a kid...scene i remember the most is the grandmother fighting...then got killed waaa

  • Sho Kosugi (the hero of this film) movies to check out: Enter the Ninja(I think this is Sho KOsugi's first American film), Revenge of the Ninja(this movie), Ninja III: The Domination(not sure what the "III" refers too, this isn't a sequel to any Kosugi movie I've ever seen), Nine Deaths of the Ninja (very quirky movie, but also entertaining), Pray for Death (more ninja vengeance...with a cool mask), (also check out "The Master" television series) Rage of Honor, Black Eagle (with Van Damme!)

  • still the best of em all , yes

  • nice! wish I could do things like that

  • So Bad, so good so cult :-)

  • WOW, a movie 4rm da 80's 2 have all this hardcore action, gotta get it on blueray, lol

  • Soooo much better than the actual theatrical trailer. Gotta love the 80s!!

  • this isn't the original trailer from the 80's you moron.

  • Where can i watch this movie?

    looks really good?

  • God i love the 80s, movies now are just PATHETIC

  • Hahaha, I remember this movie. I remember this one scene in particular where the evil ninja is trying to make a get away by picking a lock and to buy himself more time reaches in his pouch and pulls out some ball bearings then a few seconds later pulls out what looks like sharpened jumping jacks and totally screws those guys up. Ahhh, those were the days!

  • @mrperfect87106

The "sharpened jumping jacks" are actually called caltrops.

    That scene was pretty epic.

  • Ninja assassin was awsome and they should remake this

  • Careful, the Wikipedia Generation is now calling it "NINJUTSU"

    Hahahahah.

  • got one word to anyone who wants to see a badass karate movie and that is : GYMKATA

  • KULT - SHO KOSUGI

  • oh fuck yeah ninjas are the shit!!!

  • This WAS AND IS the best Ninja movie ever. Ninja Assassin was too filled with bullshit and fake stunts computer shit.

Revenge of the Ninja? 29 years old? had ACTUAL fighting in it and ACTUAL ninjitsu techniques.

The Best ever. Whoever posted this? KUDOS! Awesome!

  • Sho Kosugi is in Ninja Assassin as the leader, which I thought was awesome cause I remember him from this film when I was little.

  • I remember when that came out. Nobody in the states knew much about ninjas back then

  • was that Joe Pesci at 1:22-1:23? LOL...ahh typical american ninja movies

  • Loved this movie when i was a kid. God, been so long...

And this trailer doesnt even looks like an 80's movie. The quality is very good.

  • wow this vid looks soo new i remeber this movie ..

  • does anyone know if this has a sequel? I remember as a kid I used to watch this movie over and over again but I also remember other ninja movies in that era but im not sure if there sequels to this one like ninja 3 the dominion or something like that

  • The movie that came after that was Ninja III The Domination. But its not exactly a sequel.

  • my parents had it in Betamax... so I watched like 100 times just as Airworlf, the series. I remember another ninja movie with a huge battle between black and white ninjas. oh the good times

  • @ChicanoTattooArt ninja III The Domination you're right

  • Oh, I loved this movie back in 84/85....

  • i love this movie!

  • Great 80ies Ninja-Movie... and of course - IT IS YOUR VIDEO ;)

  • DIY!

  • HOLYSHIT!!! i watched this soo many times when i was a kid.

  • me too ToT i found it until now someone can tell me where can i download this, please.

  • Good trailer...

    Classic 80´s movie...

  • Most excellent!! One of my favorites by Sho!!

  • That was a good movie but it was no "American Ninja"

  • American Ninja was great, but CMON!!!!! Ain't got nothing on REVENGE!!!!! Dudikoff would get WHIPPED by Sho!!!!

  • well they would need to make a movie where they go at it then perhaps? I'd watch that.

  • i saw this movie in the 80's, then it was great action... ^^

  • ロロロロロロロロロロロロロロロロロロロロロロロロロロロロロロテマチレピハポヒリル。。。

  • General Von Heisling?

  • あ ケインだ! かわいい~

  • w0w..

    i agree with princessblack890

  • This is one of the best trailers I've ever seen!!!!!!

    :DDDDDD

  • I bought this video on ebay about 5 years ago. Love it. There is definitely room for a decent Ninja movie right now - but it has to be DECENT. Who would you cast?

  • One of the best ninja movies ever made(good story and action).Saw it when it first came out in theatres back in 1983(too bad there hasn't been a ninja movie made lately).

  • ninja assassin and 'ninja' will be released in 2009, hopfully it will bring bak the genre

  • Up to 1989 they was the fashion the films [toy].[lene] that they was real [ninza]. Truth what [apegine] this actor?

  • which of these movies starts with a fight on a steamboat?

  • I loved this film as a kid

  • Best Classic NINJA movie to date I think .

  • hell yeah!

  • This is the movie that made Karl Nemetski... study it carefully.

  • Little Caine.. he broke one of the dolls.. and the heroin came out!!

    DAMMIT!

    lmao

  • rotfl corny aint it lol

  • not a bad trailer you made there.

  • I used to have this on DVD.would watch it over and over;traded it for video games.still the best ninja movie ever made.

  • thats the only real ninja movie ever made(also american ninja),i loved it as a kid,and watch it now occasional.its a shame i cant find the movie on dvd.

anybody knows where i can buy regio 2 dvd of sho kosugi because he is the REAL deal.

why are the most ninja-movies so ridiculous,i mean, i realy love ninjas but there arent many good movies about it.

  • only ever got a region 1 release bought it last year,by far the best ninja movie made so far. look out for ninja assasins,by the wachowski brothers and issac florentines the ninja starring scott adkins.both out this year

  • It is really funny to see this again. One thing I did know at that time in the 80`s, is that Ninjas fear hights actually..

  • this is a badass kung fu flick

  • this was such a funny movie

  • this movie brings back memories...im downloading it now as we speak =) love the movie...pure nostalgia trip :D

  • great movie!!!!

  • Thanks for posting this, will have to check this one out.

  • IMDB s reporting that Sho will be making another ninja movie, creativly titled Return of the Ninja. Damn I hope it gets made. There are no more good ninja movies anymore, not since Cannon films went tits up.

  • Kane Kosugi? As in "Ninja Warrior" all-star Kane Kosugi? That's tripped out.

  • first time i saw this movie was 1985 .we used to play it twice a day .my uncle had the beta cassete. ever since on early 90s we broke it now im thinking to get this on dvd.good movie,

  • also we have to accept that this guy Sho Kosugi is better in the marshal Arts than Jackie Chan and Jet Li.

  • i was have 6 or 7 years when i watch this movie the thing to understand this movie more of the moves the marshal arts its to undertsand that you can`t trust totaly in your friends he is betrayed for his best american friend that man kill all his family and used him to transport his drugs on the maniquies of the japaness man, this movie represent that doesnt matter what we fall, maybe we are betrayed, we are beat it, but we have to get up again.

  • classic movie")

  • Enter the Ninja started the genre, but this movie defined it and forced it into the mainstream. I also first watched this movie at about 10 or 11 years old. It forever left and interest of ninja and martial arts. This movie is the best. I just wish they would release Enter the Ninja and Ninja III: The Domination on American DVD.

  • Sho Kosugi's son does have a movie that he did in japan.I forgot the name, but he was very fast in that movie.

  • Sho Kosugi's son, Kane should make a Ninja movie instead of always playing some supporting role like in 'Dead or Alive' or 'War'

  • O-M-G!!!! THIS MOVIE FUCKING RULES!!!!!!!!! classic!! i first saw this when i was like 7 or 8..my brother was heavily into martial arts growing up,and he showed us this movie..ever since then ive LOVED IT!!!!

  • i remember this movie wen i wos kid!

  • OMFG I used to watch this movie almost everyday when i was like 7

  • thats funny dude i see a lot of people of my age or around that we used to be mesmerised by that movie if you see it there was a lot of little kids between 5 and 12 years old watching that movie.my little brother was 6 i was 9 he used to be the good ninja i used to be the bad.we used to fight with katanas and copy their movements throw baby powder pretending it was the things the ninjas threw on the ground and dissapear.great memories

  • same here with my older brother

  • Athur Roberts ............buahaha omG

  • Watched this when I was 7 years old.

    Good times.

  • this was the best ninja movie i ever saw.

  • Good back in the day memories. I was 12 or 13 at the time. "ONLY A NINJA CAN STOP A NINJA". One of the best!!!

  • Sho Kosugi is coming back in Ninja Assassin!!!

  • Didn't the bad guy spit nails into someone's face? Sho Kosugi was sooooo badass!!!

  • Childhood memories.

  • This movie started it all for me with ninjas. I was about 5-6 yrs old. I wanted to be that little boy in the movie, super tough x). But that ninja actor is the best. Every other ninja movie I've seen the costume is stupid or something is just off. This was a great classic Ninja movie, including the sequel with that guy who spun into the ground. I liked them all.

  • I loved this movie when I was a kid. I can't remember, is this the one where the Ninja kills the couple in the hot tub with a blow gun and they are stuck together from rigor mortis?

  • yeah it is

  • Yes it is.

    Braden did it.

  • i wish they'd have enough balls to make movies like this today.

and what happened to all those cheesey, late-night, HBO, kungfu/karate low-budget flicks? i miss those.

  • me too dude, miss those cheesey kungfu movies where the words dont match up lol...

  • oh, Gosh, the best ninja movie ever!!! I was about 5-6 years old when I saw that movie!!! over 22 years!!!

  • sho kosugi is a real Ninja

  • ya but there a dying breed. To bad
