He's pratically the greatest architect that ever lived. In fact, he had plans to build a skyscrapper that was going to 5280 feet high (1 mile)!!!!!!! But for sentimental reasons, it never got built. But I have a feeling that sometime in the near or distant future it'll be built

Look at the skyline in Faris Bullers Day Off, and look at it today. You can tell its the same city easily but much has changed.

The Spire is on hold. Just scrap it and use the site to build the Illinois. What is the Illinois? It was a mile tall skyscraper proposed back in the 60's. If we really put our mind to it we could definitely build it. It would be 4 times taller then the Burj Dubi (or whatever its called).

@godzillaisbeast1 nyc has more planned actually... and 15 penn plaza has just been approved and it will be almost the size of the ESB.... 1 world trade center is like 30% complete and 2, 3 and 4 are already under construction... 2 being taller than the esb and 3 being a little shorter... carnegie 57 is also under construction and will be taller than the chrysler building... there are much more but i can't type no more....

I agree with many people here, make Chicago more colourful!!! Chicago is my favourite city in the United States, but the skyline is bland. It needs to be more like, Hong Kong. Have you seen that place, they go crazy with their lights! I'd like to see that :]

on the lighting front...most of chicagos buildings are corporate, or residential buildings.. which call for white lighting.. its not an entertainment mecca like LA which benefits from the lights of hotels and entertain facilites. Also(i dont partic. agree) Mayor daly has address the skyline lighting issue and says "that buildings would benfit more from his rooftop gardens and the greening of the buildings, than to have high energy lights shooting out of them" IDK. my opinion lol

Chicago needs to build a skyline with more angles. It is always the same. Chicago also need colors. I never even see colors.

Especially night. Yellow. Chicago needs more colors.

I don't get why LA have so many new angles, and so many colors. While Chicago, rated better, does not.

Almost every new building(Possibly all) is the same color.

Modern blue, black, grey, and white.

All the colorful buildings are covered.

They're behind the skyline.

You guys should look at Chicago's skyline from the other side. It is a LOT better. You guys got to agree. The main view is nothing special now. So go on Google Maps Streetview and look at Chicago!
