  • @pascaleplaysguitar I think it's similar to corn syrup or Karo syrup (in the US), so maybe dark corn syrup would be what you're looking for.

  • i've made this twice and they tasted real good... thanks Ben! quick question though, both batches were quite hard... are they supposed to be like that? is there a way to make it softer for my older family members who cant really bite on hard cookies?

  • @kacey1991 Yeah they're suppose to be quite hard. If you want to make them softer, try making the biscuits a bit thicker but cooking them for the same amount of time! :-D

  • Hey guys, I like to print recipes and keep them on my recipe folder so I can easily make something when I need, but on your website it's next to impossible to print properly because you separate the ingredients and instructions and you have to print two pages to get one recipe =/ Couldn't you guys do a nice Christmas thing and give us a "print" function where it opens a window with a photo of the recipe, then the ingredients at the top and the instructions at the bottom, like recipe sites do? TA

    My aunt is going to another country this Christmas and she wants me to took care of her 3 young children. Now my problem is young kids are known to be picky eaters and I can (maybe) cook good food. Since I am a vegetarian (of course I don't eat meat) but these kids love chicken, beef and pork (not fish). Now my dilemma is on how can I put vegetables in their dish without hearing them complain on how they hate vegetables? Thank you and a Happy Holidays! ^_^

  • What do you guys think of the induction ranges? I have fire in my house, and I'm thinking of getting a few of each. I've used an induction heater in commercial use, but the one I used didn't have as much control as I like, so for example high would be a rolling boil, while medium would be too low for a simmer. It was very quick to bring things to a boil but it was impossible to simmer on.

  • I like to add a special composition of spieces for gingerbread, which we have in Poland, which consists of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, nutmeg, coriander, clove, etc. In Polish we call gingerbread cookies pierniki
