I wish you all the best mate, wish I had done the same when I was 27 as I am 49 now with 3 grown up kids, but I haven't ruled it out yet. I see you were up here in Scotland, hope you had a great time and you went for a dip at South Queensferry, saw some pics from that day looked fun, but cold. When you go to Ireland don't forget to visit the Rosses area of Donegal, true Gaelic speaking county and were my family is from. Most tourists give it a miss, but it is the most rugged of the counties.
@irishrover63 Cheers mate. I will definitely do that and post about it :) I did the dip at Queensferry but we did it after the official one for a couple of reasons, one we thought it was a bit stiff paying 6 pound to get in cold water (although since then I have heard that goes to charity) and also because we didn't wake up early enough. Will upload the clips of this in the next week. I need to get back up to Scotland when the weather is more agreeable with motorbike riding.
@irishrover63 Also my mother and step father moved here 2 years ago once all my brothers had left the nest. They have spent the time traveling around Europe seeing all the sites. It can be done, cheers for the subscribe.
@ZedHead101 Thanks mate, I have no doubt I will enjoy Ireland. I have been turning down Guinness for the past month here in London. Can't wait to have my first Guinness at the Ferryman in Dubs.
All the best for the rest of your trip, bruvva!
