  • I have a better melody....wish I could sing it for you....

  • I love this song as it helps remember the letters and used to teach it to my students. BUT...why can't they teach, especially when recording this...the importance of singing beautifully and with feeling and music and not screaming and screeching!

  • lol, they "copyrighted" this piece of shit song?

  • Shalom! I'm in a new Israeli rock music video by Roy Cohen. Search for אם אבקש אותך - רועי כהן on youtube to watch the video as youtube wont let me post the link here. Just copy/paste the hebrew text here in case you don't know hebrew.

  • I like this version, all the others go really fast

  • I'm so far behind I'm twelve and I'm just learning how to read hebrew

  • i was almost going to show this in my beginners hebrew class.

    BUT... kaf comes beore chaf.

    Chaval.

  • Is similar to Aramaic

  • @ArameansIraq

    You are correct :)

The hebrew alphabet used the Aramaic alphabet.

They are so similar, most people even say they are the same.

  • @ArameansIraq

    HEBREW IS ARAMIC

  • @shaharmos

    Hebrew came before Aramaic.............

  • @mikaelminyun123

  • excelente video para querer conocer el alfabeto hebreo

  • excelente video para querer conocer el alfabeto hebreo

  • Just me or is the sound awful?

  • Interesting spellings , I've memorize this song , and every time I see it I see different spellings for the letters, left wondering what the correct spellings are.

  • Well, usually, e.g., ch is a gutteral sound and k is the same letter with a dot: "chaf" and "kaf."

But with transliterations, lots of spellings are kind of up to you.

What bothers me more with this song is that it leaves out the "final" forms of the few letters that have them. These forms of the letters occur only at the ends of words, for instance, "kaf sofit".

Other than that the song is great, very catchy.

But I'm glad I learned my aleph bet with ALL the letters!

  • I mean "chaf sofit!"

The order of the letters is kaf, chaf, chaf sofit.

  • There is no correct spelling in English since they are transliterated. The real spelling is in Hebrew. You can pretty much spell it however you wish:)

  • Amazing! Brilliant! I loved it!
