It isn't all speculation. We know much more about the world than what we used to. I don't doubt that we are not alone. With all the billions of planets out there, it's a statistical certainty. I just don't happen to think that they've visited us using dubious vague methods of cosmic travel.

I believe that the universe is full of life and even intelligent one but if you take a mathematical look at it how imaginable the distances are in the universe.... its more likely that no civilization has knowledge about any others just like we do. We dont have definite proof of life on other planets. it mathematicaly and biologicaly very likely but we have no proof. I dont think that there've been aliens here cuz thats just highly unlikely considering all the factors.

@frankwestphalk totally agree. adding this sort of movie music just gives people an unconscious "sci fi movie" context, and they're immediately in a headspace to think of it as entertainment/fiction. Just silence or actual background would be much more appropriate for a dispassionate assessment. "X-files music" always makes me think I'm looking at (i) attenetion seeking, or worse, (b) misinformation. Might not be the case, but that's the effect this kind of "soundtracking" has, unfortunately
