i just bought my SE Experia arc ,and I'm telling you, you're gonna love it!it's really light and comfortable to hold!its fast,and screen display is so amazing!
@crazydrew93 Depends on a few things such as preference and price. I prefer the arc (Ive tested both, just waiting for my arc to be delivered). Galaxy S2 comes out soon so if you prefer Samsung in general I would wait for that (Ericcson make the phone feel more like one of theirs so if you don't like Erricsson you may not like the arc). The arc looks better than either Galaxy and I much prefer its screen to the AMOLED ones - but even this is again personal preference.
I wonder why Samsung galaxy S hardware is slower then Arc's since Galaxy S got powerVR 540 when Arc runs at adreno 205 which is proven slower then SGX 540...
don't care about 7 frames, just look at the difference between colors, Galaxy S super amoled screen is showing twice better colors than much more newer arc LCD bravia screen.
@Janjalaa I think the AMOLED is always extravagant which makes it look pretty unreal. When I see the AMOLED in real I think WOW :o but then I think I could'nt stand this extra-super-powerful screen with extravagant colors after a couple of weeks. And that is not good Janjalaa...
sry guys every body with no eyes sees that i look much much smoother with the arc, the movements look way better running through faster dont means its faster in fact because you can see more details and a much smoother movement on the arc...
Makes sense to me. Galaxy S skipping frames - making it look faster. But Neocore counts the correct shown FPS, which is lower than Xperia Arc.
Xperia Arc shows more frames, because its not skipping any frames - which Neocore benchmarks as a higher FPS, but because Xperia Arc shows and calculates more frames per second, it finishes later than Galaxy S.
Looks like Galaxy S software is optimized for certain benchmark programs which makes it look faster, but is caught by Neocore...
@rDeruu i have seen this every time comparing galaxy s with other phones, at last i knew why : its because galaxy s skips frames to make it look faster

so a galaxy s vs xperia arc? is that s2 or just s? if it is not then it's not a fair comparison ...
unuckfut 6 months ago
All high end galaxy S phones use v-sync so that benchmark is rather irrelevant

It doesn´t matter which phone you want to use. It depends on the user how they use it on their daily life.

when the phone is not fast enough it skip frames making it look "faster" but actually it isnt

@jedmacrox
Still doesn't explain why the Arc gets 62 FPS.
Skipping frames = lesser FPS

Xperia starts first, yet finishes last. Glad I didn't decide to trade my Galaxy S for Xperia arc.
