  • The Differences between the Aussie Version of Bullseye and the USA Version in 1984

    1. The Color of the Arrow in Australia is Blue, The US Version is Green.

    2. The Title Color in Bullseye in Australia is White, The US Version Title Color in Bullseye is Green

    3. Display Lights in Australia is LED's, The U.S.A. uses Eggcrate.

    Is That Ok, Historians?

  • Well, the first contestant looks every inch an 80s aerobics instructor!

  • The 1980's Aussie TPIR champs always wear jackets!

  • oh god they're like they are now in the US with the products. Don't actually say what they are! We could actually make some money to pay for the prizes with THAT! :p

LOVE how much this version is like the US show too. He's a really good host too, great segment!

  • At least they just mentioned the gram weight and type of grocery product without the brand name not unlike when Rich Fields on US TPIR says like "Chocolate chip cookies puts a smile on your face" for Chips Ahoy or "Make your day with the goodness of Extra Crunchy Peanut Butter" for Jif Peanut Butter.

  • American consumers don't care about the gram weight or type of grocery product. Rich is simply trying to sell the products.

  • @palmercomm That's NOT true at all. We DO care what brands we buy, we always have. Also, when we shop we do pay attention to how much is in that package. On the actual show, yeah it's a different story, but that doesn't mean we don't care about the weight of the package.

Rich, or whoever the announcer is, will mention the specific brand name if the company pays a fee to the show for promotional purposes! In fact, for many years almost every product had it's name mentioned on the air.

  • @heine71 Not all the time. Rich, or whoever the announcer is, will mention the specific brand name if the company pays a fee to the show for promotional purposes! In fact, for many years almost every product had it's name mentioned on the air.
