I will respect Obama insofar as he respects our Constitution. I hope he doesn't back down to all our enemies. But i'm not too optimistic right now.

Dude, I hate to point this out, but everything you're complaining about from the "left" is exactly what the "right" do whenever they aren't in power.
You have to respect democracy at work, because it's what U.S.A stands for - the right of the majority to rule in the interests of their country.
If it's good enough when you "win" then it should be good enough when you "lose".
