  • @3dsMaxHowTos I have a slight request for your videos. Something I wish all YT Channels would do. When a tutorial has a series (multiple videos) could you link to the previous videos of the series in the description?

  • Hi there, i am doing a project for my university and i would like to be able to use this tool for animating a car around a track. Anyway, i have the student version of 3DS Max, downloaded from the 3DS Max website. I dont have a CD Key for Craft Director to use 4WheelerExt, only the free vehicles. Is there any way around this or will i need to buy it?

  • @macin1991 Sorry, I'm not familiar with the student version, so I'm not sure if the deal works there. I know that sometimes Autodesk and Third-Party developers work a bargain to put specific products together, like it was the case between Craft Director Studio and the commercial version of 3ds Max 2011. Those are usually special deals that do not extend to other products, so I'm not sure how it will work with the student version, if at all.

  • Awsome work, very helpful tutorial. Thanks for your support.

  • Nice work man

    Great tutorial

    thanks

  • do you have any tutorial on how to add the 3d environment to a scene?

  • Hello I'm trying to use the craft animation evaultion 4 wheelext but it's incredibly slow in 3ds max and often crash. I dont know, but it looks really flawless to yours. Pls tell me what's the possible problems.

    My pc specs:

    -amd phenom2 x6 4ghz

    -16GB Ram

    -2x ati 5770

I think my pc specs are good but something is really wrong with the perfromance.

  • @3dimensionalJoe

Hi, your specs certainly look good enough. Are you using the same scene shown in the tutorial or are you using your own? Try hiding the car mesh and see if that helps. It's a little difficult for me to pinpoint the problem remotely. I'm personally using aNVidia Quadro FX4600 which is a bit more professional grade but you still should be ok with 5770. Like I said, try hiding objects you don't need when doing the live recording. Cheers.

  • Merci beaucoup pour cette merveilleuse vidéo

  • it wasn't too bad actually, about 7 or 8 hours on a single "normal" machine (Athlon x2 6000 with 4G or RAM).

  • Just tell me, how much did it take exactly to render 2400+ frames?

  • holy shit i just realised i don't know anything about 3dmax. :(

  • Lovely though I do think they could have skipped like a minute on the drive part

  • What can't this software do?

  • I think he may have scuffed the road a bit lol. I had no idea that you could control things like this in 3Ds Max. I'd always assumed I'd have to buy other programs just to start little programming like this. Good to know that I don't, all I need is some plugins :). Thank you Autodesk!!!

  • Loved it loved it loved it! :D
