The skybox by itself is amazing, but having the jets flyby as you walk out of the pipe ups the badassness by another factor of 10.

You always hear "They should remake *insert game here* with better graphics." That never happens though, which is why Black Mesa is such a dream come true. I can't wait for this mod!

That only works if their breaking the sound barrier. If they are just cruising the sound and plane are at even rate. Personally and this is just me I think it would be better if they were in formation and were breaking the sound barrier. In combat situations going faster than the speed of sound is fairly common. Especially if the combat zone is out in the middle of no wheres.

Yep, only thing that could make this scene better would be if those jets (which from playing the orignal was a solo F16) were flying in formation breaking the sound barrier.You come out of the tunnel and see from your left 4 (theres 3 here but should be 4 for formation flight) jets fly past with no sound and as they are right infront of you and start passing you to the right you start to hear the sound and it quickly passes you buy.That would give a more holy fuck feel than three at cruise i say

lol I would agree, thing is though where ever my post was at the storm drain wouldnt have to shake as the jets do a full afterburner pass. The ground would vibrate but you would only feel it not see it. Ive been to enough airshows over the years to know the feeling very well. You feel the vibration in the ground and in your chest as they go past.

Releasing in 2010 is the perfect release date, because Black Mesa will sit on top of the throne of mod of the god damn decade for ten fucking years.
