Well, it is the original, mais moi qui parle trois langues, je sais qui, some times, the new lyrics (not a translation) have a better feeling. Listen "Que c'est triste Venice" and its Spanish version that is called "Venecia si ti" (Venice without you); the latter has a more romantic meaning while the poriginal is sad en parlant de l'amour qui est morte. Así es mi amigo, a cada quien le gusta lo suyo. Chacun aime ce qui l'est connu. Everybody loves what is known. Merci beaucoup.
