@iamamotherfocker . erecting it was a breeze. Basically I had it prepped and ready to go before I did anything. I dug the hole and had my neighbor help me stand her up while my son was on the roof pulling the rope, all together it took about 40 seconds to get her upright and in the hole, not a bad process at all.
hi i live in Canada i am looking at this antenna are you happy with it and does it work well my old antenna is falling apart and does not work well im sick of having to mess with it all the time lol cant wait to throw it off the roof
@waylonhartwell the antenna works great. It claims 125 mile reception but I am actually receiving channels from 175 miles away. I receive a total of 90 channels. 50 to the north and 40 to the south. I am located on the east coast of Florida about half way down. When you throw yours of the roof film it and post it. Good luck !!
No further questions, sir. I am in the 8th grade, and I must admit, it would probably take me a whole day to make one? I'm great with building and technology, but this looks complicated from my prospective! Anyways, thank you, and congrats on your tower!
@NeonFlayme OK young man, I'm glad that your interested. If you ever have any more questions just ask, I can answer any type of technical question that you may have regarding TV and CATV. Good luck, stay in school and keep away from drugs and alcohol. And remember to listen to your parents because they love you, and only want what is best for you !!!
Amazing! Tell me, how long did it take for youu to make this, sir? I'm in love with technology and learning new things! By the way, congrats. on getting that tower done!
@NeonFlayme Hi Kai, to complete the install of the HDTV antenna and to fully erect the tower it only took a few hours. It was rather simple to do since I have been in the low voltage / CATV field for 20 yrs. Thanks for asking, if you have more questions please just ask, I'll more than happy to help !

I did not mount it in cement because I took it down from another location and had to cut the legs from the base. However in my other video I show how I secured it to the side of the house. It is buried about 3 feet down in the dirt. I have climbed to the top of it several times and it hold me just fine at 6'2" 230 lbs.
I would have loved to see a vid of you erecting that tower, can you tell how you did it
