...I didn't know you could slow the ship down. :-| Awesome video though. I'm only just getting used to challenge mode, but It's cool how you beef up so quick when all the shields get replaced with other powers.
@OutOfMidian I will make this more clear in the update next week, that you can slow the fighter down. And that you actually get more offense when you lose the defense in Challenge mode. It's a great mode to play in, since it forces you to get used to bullet dodging. ;)
@JDoucette OK cool. I'm actually pretty good at using the analogue stick to weave in and out of the bullets slowly. It's good to know there's sort of an emergency slowdown too though.
@OutOfMidian I never used it either, until I played Challenge mode and started using it exclusively. Once you get over the little hump of it being ON or OFF (meaning you suddenly accelerate when you let go of it, which may cause you to crash into a bullet), it becomes very, very easy to use. My suggestion is to try it. NOT for emergency situations, since you won't be used to it. Try for regular situations. Then when an emergency comes, you'll already be using it. You'll be prepared.
It's cut off on the side a bit, but it looks good. Better than my professional captures even, because it's blur motion that shows off the 60 fps nature of the game better. You could probably center your camera too.
