  • Mesmerizing cooker from "Coincidence & Likely Stories" masterpiece has a rocking gripping bite to it that is intoxicating and riveting...always enjoyed Buffy over the years, especially "Moonshot", but this stunning collection with hot tracks like "Bad End" has made a real fan out of me, can't get enough and too bad lame music industry doesn't get behind this amazing legendary giant and give deserved acclaim...truly a "Unsung" musical icon...Bravo Buffy Saint Marie!

  • You've always been ahead of the curve. Commercial value was not ever super-ceded by the integrity of the message. From before Alcatraz, to Cradle Board to HIV, you've always taken on the issues that are not, and were not "sexy". (Except your beau.) Keep doing what you're doing. You take us "Up Where We Belong".

  • Buffy, almost typed Buggy, homer-ow keys.

  • Buffy has always been ahead of things regardless of any commercial value. That's not what was important if you take the music away and look at the words. The music is an added bonus. From Alcatraz to Cradle Board to HIV, she's never attached herself to anything sexy, except her beau. She does what trail-brazers even refuse to mark for future reference. That's why I respect her. Not to mention being a tremendously sexy chick even today. Go Girl!

  • Oh wow!, absolutely love it! ... Can't believe I hadn't listened to this one before.

...Then again, she's made so many songs and even in many versions, so it's not unbelievable. It's just me giving yet another expressing of awe, that's all!... '^L^,

(I owe you another Thanks, NativeAmerican4Life!)

  • Dark, but so good. Love to see her and John Kay in concert together. Both can tell stories with their vocals.

  • This album just doesn't have a single track that's mediocre on it. It's brilliant. This "Bad End" is biting and relentless in its beauty.

  • My native roots are Brule Sioux but I love my Ojibway and Mohawk friends dearly.

I also love Buffy and have for many years.

  • WOW! Incredible!

  • Quite simply, one of the greatest songs I've ever heard (and I've heard a LOT.)

Makes me proud to be Canadian.

Makes my partner proud of her Metis/Ojibway heritage.

Buffy Sainte Marie is a national treasure

    Meegwetch.

  • At the time, 1992, I feared this song might indicate she knew something about her health that we didn't know.

Fortunately my fears were not justified.

  • Compulsive. I've had this since it first came out. It's on my 'to be buried with' list.

  • This song so reminds me of our ppls,,and drug addiction,,,...Positive tune..Love my auntie..

  • Such a great album from this great artist.I always play it with Joni's Dog Eat Dog. Smart and incisive, both wonderful Canadian women we should be so proud of.

  • Hell Ya!!!!
