Great song, much cooler than their first "Shades". I wonder why they did'nt add a percussionist and a bass player. I just formed a duo with my wife on keys. It can be touchy but, if you live for music you live together. Michael Angelo
anyone remember IRS'S THE CUTTING EDGE that was my first exposure to them ..rev jack and his roaming cadilack church ...oh yea and a sinfull life good song dont see it any where on you tube though
TimBuk 3used to play at The Austin Outhouse, in the early 80's. Blaze Foley got them their first gig in town. Barbara, Pat, Blaze, Rich Minus, Mickey White...they all played The Austin Outhouse. Pat will be in Austin in Nov. '09. Can't wait...Barbara K will be playing a HAMM benefit this weekend, in Austin.
Would sound better with a real drummer. Sounds weird with the machine. No biggie, just sayin'

Bank Robber is their best song, IMO.

There was some great music in the 80s and I was in college when this was new.
Good times.

I saw them live in a small club many years ago. Although I liked them already I was quite impressed with what just 2 people could do on stage.

I agree to that, I just heard this song for the first time, in an old footage about a city that burned for 40 years, and still is ???
